What pisses you off?

I would just like to ask, because I wanted to know if maybe for some reason your experiences might be similar to that of mine.

What pisses me off? To be honest, as far as I extend the threshold of my patience, there are still instances where I'm losing my self-control to the extent that I became really, really snappy. I just really don't understand why, for some reason, there are a lot of individuals out there born to be an annoyer; individuals that would really make your blood pressure rise to a certain level.

I wish not to share this, but as I said, I had lost myself control. I know for a fact, that I need to be more open-minded and understanding, however, I just can't understand why some people out there can't understand simple instructions, and simple body language that they keep on asking the same questions over and over again. Not that I'm attributing or labeling the person as a goof, but I just hate it. I just do.

To put it a more detailed context, this person that I'm pertaining to, can read and is able to write, but somehow the problem with her is that she can't understand fully what she had been reading. In addition to this, she is really not that sensitive to feel that other people around her is already pissed off by her actions. I just don't understand why she acts that way, but as far as my inquisitive mind can bring me to, I can tell that she was raised poorly by her own parents or worst still her parents indulged her with all the material needs and they over-looked that she needed to grow as an individual coexisting with the rest of the people close to her.

By the way, this person that I'm describing is my own relative, my cousin. Ha, ha, ha, to bad of me, I'm bad-mouthing her, but I can't help myself, she pissed me off because she can't understand self-explanatory statements like "Temporary Down Due to Maintenance." Read More......

Realizations...

Another month had passed by... and soon a new chapter and a brand new year will start to unfold; December really is a month of extremities!

Anyway forgive me for being so profound with this latest post. I'm always like this when this kind season starts. Sure enough I'm going to cope up, no sooner than later.

By the way, I would like to add to this mediocre post about my realizations from the past month that had lapsed.

  • I have realized that no matter how long your journey would take, it's still best to have someone close to you to share your thoughts and emotions with.
  • I had learned that happiness cannot be found by searching for it; it just comes by everyone's lives; so live by the moment, and feel every single bit of it.
  • I had also learned that no matter how your day ends, whether problems struck out your outlook, there's still a new day up ahead, hence you don't need to lose all your hope.
  • I had realized that sometimes faith is really enough to keep a living soul alive.
  • I had learned that sometimes there is really no room for mistakes, but often times you can't help making one.
  • I had also realized that searching for a special someone, isn't really necessary; it just comes by, if it comes.

Is your pagerank stuck at zero? or are you slammed by Google?

Wow, after so much days not blogging, a wierd and somewhat controvesial note on some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) site is what going to stir me back on writing something. Just a quick word if you're not into the latest trend about the big G and its exploits, check out your PR!

Anyway, if your wondering why on earth am I asking you to check your page rank. The answer is rather quite simple after you had checked your own rank. (Edit: Don't check my page rank, cause this domain is just a month old even if I started blogging rather a few months ago.) Everyone knows that it was mid-October this year, 2007, that the lastest page rank update happened; some blogs had increased their page ranks while other's stooped and slide down the ranking system. This is what everyone else knows about a typical ranking system, some lose ranks while others gain. However, last November 15, if I wasn't mistaken, selective webmasters ended up losing their page ranks, not just a -1 or a -2 from the said ranking system owned by G, but all of their page ranks started to start back to zero. For what reason?

Everyone knows that Google uses Adsense and Adwords as it's predominant investment key to gain billions of dollars across and over the internet using publishers and advertisers alike. However what if you don't belong to their publishers' network or their advertising network but instead you are doing business as a freelance writer over the internet, or your finding good and qualified writers to help you out to promote your business? This was the major question that instantanouesly popped-out my mind. What if the webmaster doesn't belong to Google's advertising firm, would that mean breaching some contract or guidelines, which was purportedly the reason why some bloggers lost their page rank? Read story here or here

Apart from what I know, page rank was in fact made to determine the website's quality content, the links associated to it, the website's traffic and so on and so forth, which in fact is too categorical and at the same time confusing. (Just head out to Wikipedia in order to know what page rank is all about.) Every website owners knows that page rank is being utilized by a lot advertising firms in order to promote their products over the vast market of the internet; and with page rank being under Google's subsidy, advertisers tend to be so sure that their products could get a decent exposure. But what if these advertisers wanted more than what Google's advertising firm can provide? What if the advertisers hired decent freelance writers and asked them to critic their products? Would that mean selling links across the internet?

I just don't understand why most of the time Google tends to be so manipulative over the course and trend of online marketers and freelancers alike. If they see that a freelancers' writing job over the internet is causing them to lose money from their contextualized ads then I think it might had made them to use page rank as a means of trying to get even from their competitors. Well at the end of the day an online publisher doesn't want to be stuck at a page rank zero you know, and no one seems to care even if a lot of people will boycott big G or not. Read More......

Congressman Akbar died on the Philippine Congress Explosion

Congressman Wahab Akbar, a representative from Basilan had died from the explosion that had happened in the Philippine Congress at around 8:00 p.m. GMT. The said congressman was sent to the Far Eastern University Hospital for sufficient medication however, due to the sustaining wounds, cuts and fractures that he acquired from the said explosion he didn't survived. According to ABS-CBN News the driver of the said congressman who had survived states that the said explosion happened not in the congressman's car but instead on the lobby of the South Wing of the Batasan Pambansa. He states that if it the explosion occurred in the congressman's car he shouldn't have been there to testify what had happened.

The congressman's death was announced by a family friend, Sandra Cam, whom she was speaking to on the phone prior the said explosion. She states that she had heard the explsion and rushed over to the hospital where the said congressman was rushed to.

Apart from these, another congressman's driver had died on the spot due to the said explosion, while other staffs of the congressmen who were injured were rushed to the hospitals for medical treatment, with which one of the victims was still on a critical condition, while another staff of Congressman Akbar will have his left leg amputated due to the severity of the damage done by the explosion.

Up to now it's still uncertain whether the said explosion was related to the Glorietta 2 Explosion, or the said explosion was done due divert attention to the revised impeachment complaint against the incumbent president, or it was due to terroristic acts, more so whether the said explosion was only directed towards the said congressman who had passed away. However, one thing is for certain that if the center of power of the Philippines in not safe, every place in the said country more so is not safe.

Miss Canada is the new Miss Earth 2007

Miss Earth 2007, Ms. Canada-Earth,

Among the 88 princesses who vied for the title Miss Earth, only one stood tall and out-shined the rest. She's no other than the 22 years old Canadian representative Jessica Nicole Trisko, a half-Canadian, half-Filipino descent. The new queen of the said pageant will succeed her predecessor Ms. Chile, Hil Hernandez, as the bearer of environmental awareness throughout the world. Ms. Canada, was a Ph.D. political science student of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The results for judging the new queen of the said pageant was stiff, since both Ms. Canada and her runner-up, Ms. India had the same brilliant answer on how will they tell the blind child the beauty of mother nature. But Ms. Canada's poetic and profound answer hailed her to the crown against the three other finalist namely, Ms. India, Ms. Venezuela, and Ms. Spain.

The competition itself was difficult since from 88 ladies competing, only the top 16 were chosen to proceed further. The following 16 semi-finalist were as follows: Jessica Nicole Trisko (Ms. Canada); Eva Čerešňáková (Ms. Czech Republic); Themys Febriel (Ms. Dominican Republic); Nanka Mamasakhlisi (Ms. Georgia); Pooja Chitgopekar (Ms. India); Amale Al-Khoder (Ms. Lebanon); Elodie Delor (Ms. Martinique); Stacey Garvey (Ms. Nigeria); Odilia Pineda (Ms. Peru); Alina Gheorge (Ms. Romania); Bokang Montjane (Ms. South Africa); Angela Gomez Duran (Ms. Spain); Ivana Gagula (Ms. Sweden); Stefanie Gossweiler (Ms. Switzerland); Jiraporn Sing-ieam (Ms. Thailand); and Silvana Santaella (Ms. Venezuela).

From 16 semi-finalist, only 8 of them survived to grace the stage of the University of the Philippines theater, with their Filipiniana inspired clothes. The 8 remaining contestants' wit on environmental awareness were also tested on a question and answer portion with which questions where picked from different individuals who promote environmental awareness in the different fields. From the remaining 8 only 4 contestants were picked to represent the titles Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, hence hailing Ms. Canada as the new queen of the said competition.

Foreclosure houses

Looking for a house to own this day is very difficult, more so it's a demanding task since you needed to find the best deal available over the market. However, finding the best deal requires the buyer to find a mortgage loan that would support the kind of purchase he or she might be needing for the house he or she wished to acquire. Nonetheless if he or she doesn't want a mortgage loan, he or she can spend his or her own savings which of course is not advisable to those who had a meager budget.

But looking for the best deal also entails the worst of it. A person can search the best mortgage deal to the extent of stressing himself or herself for paying the dues that would come on a monthly basis. In addition to this, some mortgage sector in different countries now a days are on the verge of collapse, hence instead of paying for the normal value of what the person had borrowed, it might just end up being tripled which causes so much stress on the part of the buyer.

However there is still hope in finding a house a person can call home, with or without a mortgage loan. If he or she is the United States, or in Florida state to be exact, he or she can avail what the banks called foreclosure houses in Florida, where prices of houses ranges from the least expensive to the medium expensive house, which of course, is way below the real market value of the property being foreclosed; around 20 to 30 percent off. J.K. Rowling against Lexicon

So what's with Harry Potter?

Quite a catchy question right? Apparently Harry Potter mania, and its fever had never ceased up until now even after the Deathly Hallows. And so much to my surprise that the author of the book per se, J.K. Rowling, had filed again another copyright or intellectual property right case against a publisher who intends to make a book out of the internet based Lexicon, Harry Potter Encyclopedia, that holds information about the characters she had fictitiously created. The case according to BBC News entails the publication of the contents of the internet based Lexicon to a book to be sold out to public.

J.K. Rowling had filed the said case in order to protect her rights against the publication of the said encyclopedia, since she stresses that much of its contents rely heavily on her work. More so, the said book might spoil her own planned encyclopedia that she intends to make and release in the future. Read More......

Britney Spears' Blackout: Review

britney spears blackout, blackout cover art, blackout cd cover, britney spears latest album, britney spears, gimme more,
Britney Spears' latest album Blackout was definitely not the usual of what we normally hear of her; the provocative and sensual type. Her latest comeback album somehow incorporates her feelings, though in a poor sense, since we all know she doesn't wrote much of her songs. No one truly knows whether the said compositions reflect Britney's true emotions or not, but one thing is for sure about the album; Blackout surely is not even comparable to the previously released albums of Britney Spears that her fans had come to love. Blackout lacks the sensuality of the "I'm a Slave 4 U" or the provocativeness of "Toxic", and it also lacks the classy pop style of "Oops... I did it Again", more so, the album is deficient of the dance-able rhythms exemplified by "Me Against the Music" and others songs that had hailed her to her position in the music industry

Whether or not Blackout reflects her emotional roller coaster, the album shouldn't had been released early not until resolving all the negative criticisms and publicity hailed at her. Her management and record label, shouldn't had took the risk of releasing the said album just to combat online piracy, more so as a follow up for the success of the carrier single "Gimme More". They should had test the waters first, by releasing another single from the said album, and check it comparatively with the success brought about by "Gimme More".

So far, upon listening to the entire album, I can assert that the album is fairly good, but really not that good enough to stir my attention to re-listen to the entire album itself again.

Here is the complete retail track list available plus some bonus tracks courtesy of Wikipedia:

King Tutankhamun's face reconstructed

BBC News reported in their site that the remains of Egypt's young ruler, Pharoah Tutankhamun was removed from its sarcophagus to be displayed for viewing public.
Archaeologists took the mummy from its stone sarcophagus and placed it in a climate-controlled case inside his tomb in Luxor's Valley of the Kings.

To be honest, I really don't understand why most archaeologists try to unearth a remain just for others to view it. Yes, we all know it's their work to uncover what had happened previously, report and publish them for the public to know as well, but aren't they crossing over the lines? Didn't they know how to respect the remains of someone who passed away? More so, the remains that they bastardized was no other than the remain of a Pharaoh, a ruler of Egypt. Besides, we all know that Egyptians' sarcophagus have curses and magics enveloped on it so as not to be disturbed by others.

So if you were given the chance, would you fly towards Egypt just to view the digital reconstructed face of a 19 year old Pharaoh who passed away long ago?

Which do you prefer?

I had received this meme from Marie and since it's long overdue, now I'm trying it out. I'll be truthful as possible, so if my answers tend to deviate from you're own opinion, just please respect it.

Here goes the meme entitled: Which do you prefer?

  1. Smart or Globe: - I think I'm more fond of using Globe rather Smart. However I had used both networks already.
  2. ABS-CBN or GMA: - As I previously state in my post entitled National TV ratings that I really don't watch any programs on GMA, hence I'm a loyal and avid viewer of ABS-CBN.
  3. Penshoppe or Bench: - Any will do, actually, as long as the clothes they're selling are comfortable.
  4. Avon or Personal Collection: - I really do have my own personal collection of cosmetic products, (e.g. facial wash, toner, facial scrubs, perfumes) but none of them so far has been under the brand of Avon.
  5. Sony Ericsson or Nokia cellphone: Well, I do prefer Nokia, but any will do as long as it's user-friendly.
  6. Tweety Bird or Hello Kitty: - To be honest, none of these characters suits my tastes. I prefer animes rather cartoons.
  7. Sony or JVC TV: - Sony, but if given the opportunity to try out other products why not.
  8. Lee or Guess Jeans: - Both, I think.
  9. Sketchers or Merell Shoes: - Sketchers.
  10. Swatch or Rolex watch: - Well, to be honest, I don't wear a watch, so I don't know the difference between the two. However, as I recalled I had used a Swatch watch before.

Now, I'm going to tag the following people:

Happy Halloween

pumpkin, halloween pumpkin, halloween

Happy Halloween... everyone...

Just leaving a quick word of greeting... more so a handful of prayers for all those who departed in this material world. May God's grace shine on them and lead them to eternal peace.

Moreover may we never forget the real reason why we are commemorating this annual event, to reminisce the days when our loved ones trotted with us on our journey toward the unknown and the uncertain. May their memories stay intact within our hearts, even though they already went away.

Celebrity Big Brother Update

Big Brother has a new house guest! It's no other than the prime time host of the show, Toni Gonzaga. Just today, after the 2nd round of the nominations the abrupt announcement was made. Viewers really doesn't have any idea, if ever Toni Gonzaga had a hunch that she will stay as another house guest or will replace Mariel Rodriguez as the house guest. What ever happened today will be revealed tomorrow at Uber at around 5:30 pm, so I'm going to wait until Big Brother releases their official statement. Read news here

Anyway, the nominees were as follows: Meagan, Baron and Donnie, and Zara. I really don't have any bets on them yet, but the only thing that I could say was I really don't like Baron nor his ever dependent brother to stay. More so, I also don't like Zara because the only thing that she does was to weep, weep and weep. I'm feeling that its her past time habit, plus the fact that she's so onioned skin as well. So that leaves me to Meagan again, for the second time.

Mark Cortez reveals his long time secret.

Every actor in this country, as we all know reaches a point where they were intrigued of being a female-hearted male, and we all know most of them just shrugs them of, deny them or just let the issue die; just like what this actor now gracing this page did previously. This actor, a product of a television reality search, TV Idols, aired previously on the now dissolved show MTB, was accused of being a gay, and he vehemently denied such accusations causing the said issue to die. However, table turns and the issue resurfaces, hence, yesterday the said actor became true to himself and revealed his long time secret; that indeed he was gay. Read news here

There is no harm actually in being true to yourself, more so, admitting that you're indeed gay. However, the next question that should be address here was: Will he be accepted whole-heartedly by the same people he had previously be-friend with? We all know, that once you're out of your comfort zone, and revealed to all your darkest secrets, you'll end up being rejected, more so type casted, due to the double standard norms that our society have. The society sees you as something different, hence you're not easily accepted back to the community that you belong with. A thorough screen process will be subjected to you in order to see that you're not contagious.

The double standard norm of society exist in order to restrain people from being true to themselves and be happy with what sexuality they choose. If you know, to yourself, for sure that that you're not doing anything wrong, more so you're not stepping on others to attain your goal, then go live your life, the way you wanted it to be. 7 Truths...

I received a tag from an online friend, Kamskee and it's about this:

7 Truths about me

So here goes:

  1. I can speak and write in 3 different languages namely English, Filipino and Spanish, though I must admit that I'm still not that fluent with the last language. More so, I think I'm the only person who doesn't even speak a single dialect.
  2. I used to draw and sketch a lot before, but now I really don't know if I'm still that good in the said abilities.
  3. I used to make and compose a poem to express my feeling, but I grew tried of it like what happened in the second ability.
  4. I used to play the piano, but I'm too busy to even try again. The piano stays there in its place, just waiting.
  5. I really like reading chic-literature and other romantic novels... I'm a hopeless romantic... I think...
  6. I have never been into any intimate relationships at all... So to speak, I like being with people only as friends and not as a partner, since I felt like I'm going to sacrifice my freedom and a lot of things if I ended up being with someone.
  7. Lastly, I'm really at lost now, and I don't know if I'm going to change my career path, or pursue a MA degree.

And now I'm tagging the following people:

A hero's welcome?

joseph ejercito estrada, former president, free citizen, return to Polk St., San Juan, pardon

This is what I had viewed after the former president had been released from his house arrest in Tanay, Rizal. According to the news, the family of the former president was a bit surprised for the sudden release of their beloved relative, but was expectant that he will be released sooner or later. More over, supporters of the ousted president also stresses that they "took the former president hastily from his house in Polk Street to be detained but was too late to be returned back to them in San Juan."

What was this? Could somebody use a baseball bat on me so that I'll be able to wake up from this nightmare? I don't know what to say? This was the first time, ever, in Philippine history that a convicted person, released from his detention was accepted back by the community with utmost desire and welcome like he did nothing wrong more so was hailed like a hero. Really ironic!

If Philippine politics was like a chess, and the President was the main player, I must admit, the country's in the wrong hands, moreover nearing the end of the play. This was a result of an unintellectual move coming from the incumbent president, and I pity her for doing that. Lastly, let me quote what the former president of the Philippines, Fidel V. Ramos had said on his interview, "that the president's power is nearing its end."

Former President Estrada: Free at last?

joseph ejercito estrada, former president of the philippines, erap, plunder, convicted, sandiganbayan, clemency, pardon

Yesterday, at around 4-5 in the afternoon an abrupt, and important announcement was made in the Palace of Malacañang where the president of the Republic of the Philippines resides. The sudden announcement aired in national television states that the former president, Joseph Ejercito Estrada, convicted of the crime plunder, was now given presidential clemency and hereby restores his civil status and his right to vote again given the fact that he will not run anymore to any electoral public office. Read news here

Presidential Clemency? Where in the so-called constitution can an ordinary citizen find that? As far as I know, the former disgraced president was removed from office by the people due to plundering the national treasury, was convicted by the court, and now what? He was free again, like an ordinary citizen! I just don't know if the executive branch really do have that absolute authority to rule over the judiciary system of the country. I'm now quite convinced that if you're a VIP in this country you can go away with anything.

I'm really not sure what to think of in this country. I just can't imagine they can do this, just to cover up the scandal brought about by the ZTE deal and the bribery of local government officials. Filthy politics rules here!

Moving again

I felt obliged to create a new blog today using a new domain www.jayceesdesires.info since the previous subdomain I'm using from freedns on afraid.org, http://jayceesdesires.strangled.net cannot be indexed by Google or any other search engines properly, hence I know will not yield any page rank at all even if I try.

I loved using freedns at afraid.org, since it's really not going to cost me anything at all. However, after realizing that the main reason why the said site was not properly indexed nor cached by any search engines was the fact that the service entails cutting out web crawlers, I felt really down-hearted hence my reason to move on to another domain.

To my frequent visitors from my previous blog http://jayceesdesires.strangled.net please update your links to this new one http://www.jayceesdesires.info. Please include a www to it, since without www the page would not load properly, because the registrar to where I had bought this domain doesn't have the feature yet to point a CNAME record to a specific domain. J.K. Rowling reveals Dumbledore's sexuality

j.k. rowling, harry potter, deathly hallows, order of the phoenix, half-blood prince, goblet of fire, prisoner of azkaban, chamber of secrets, sorcerer's stone, albus dumbledore, dumbledore's sexuality
Upon reading this article from Yahoo! that Albus Dumbledore, one of the main characters of the well acclaimed book Harry Potter series, was gay, caused distress to me, more so caught me off ground as shock sinks in within my line of thought. I never had the slight idea that what the fictional character, Albus Dumbledore's famous line about love refers no other than his own sexuality, his repressed feelings towards Gellert Grindewald! I never thought that, that was the reason why Dumbledore never had any partner in life towards the progression of the book. Now I feel irritated with J.K. Rowling since she ruined the fatherly image I view about on of her fictional character, Dumbledore. A thorough follow-up to the Deathly Hallows is really needed now.

National TV Ratings

national tv ratings 2007National TV Ratings

I haven't switched to local channels lately so I never knew that GMA Network released their own version of television ratings stating that they were the one leading against its stiff competitor ABS-CBN. I must admit that I might appear bias since I really don't watch any television shows aired by GMA network, but I won't lie to all of you, if I say I don't believe what they were claiming. I still believe that the ABS-CBN were the ones telling the truth when it comes to television ratings, since they had based their claims to an independent body of surveyors AGB Nielsen. Even if GMA network claims that they were leading in Metro Manila, the only thing that I'm going to assert is that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts!

Is the Manila rating the only ones preferred in the television race? I think not, since even if Manila had a million watchers, it's not only Metro Manila that had a viable market of watchers, there's a lot of regions, cities, and provinces out there where both networks can earn as well.

I pity GMA Network for sour graping on the latest release of national television ratings made by AGB Nielsen. Data can't be screwed just to fit a single preference, so please stop deceiving the viewing public with fabricated data. Read More......

Glorietta 2 explosion: was it caused by islamic extremist act or just a freak accident?

makati blast, glorietta 2 blast, bombing, makati bombingToday at aound 1:40 pm (+8:00 GMT) the business district of the Republic of the Philippines, Makati City, had experienced yet again another explosive blast on the same ground of the previous explosion - the Glorietta Mall, owned by the Ayala Corp. According to ABS-CBN news the explosion happened in the storage room of one of the restaurants the said mall caters. Up to today, authorities are not sure whether the cause of the explosion was made by a leak on the LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) or was made by an improvised explosive planted inside the mall.
"This was a bomb. But beyond that we can't say anything else yet because we are still investigating. What I can say is it was not LPG that caused this," Razon told reporters.

However, there is still no clear evidence to rule out what was first thought of about the explosion that it was caused by the leak on an LPG tank, until the authorities had finished their investigation on the said site.

Due to the said explosion, 8 were killed while more than 56 were injured having different degrees of flesh cuts and burns. Moreover, according to the news 2 individuals were still in a critical condition confined in Makati Medical Center. I just pray that God may spare them and let them live to testify to the public on how horrendous the situation they had been if it was caused by extremist bombing.

One thing is for sure about what had happened today, that people should be more vigilant on the places they are going to since no one have any idea on whether the same explosion in the Glorietta 2 mall will be repeated on another place or another mall.

Edit: Sen. Trillianes states on the news that it was the Arroyo government that should be blamed for the said explosion. Instead of blaming the government Mr. Trillianes, why not find the real culprit if the said explosion was caused by a bomb? Instead of blabbering about nonsensical things that are baseless more so factless why not work as a senator and use your connections to get to the bottom of this incident?

Sangguniang Kabataan: Just a thought

Translation:

Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), a nice pleasant statement but what does it represent in the community? Deriving from the word SK, the youth were the ones being represented by them as it was based from the old Filipino cliche, youth are for the youth. However, I'm wondering and more so pondering because my youth is nearing at its dusk but why can't I find a single project that were somehow directed for the youths that this SK represents? Was it true that the so-called SK were just misrepresentations and that the salaries were being used for illegal activities by other local government officials?

Going back to the word SK, Sangguniang Kabataan, the youths are the one governing the youths, not that I'm trying to limit the capabilities of the youth, however, isn't it questionable and at the same time arguable that youths below 18 years of age can run for public office? What were the youths' qualifications to become a chair person, more so a member of the team that governs the so-called youths? Were these running youths for the government office ready for the task they're about to be facing or do they lack the basic knowledge of the position they were about to be embarking? Lastly, can these youths manage to split their time for their different priorities (e.g. school, friends, family, and the government) just to serve the majority of the youth that they should represent?

bribery in the philippines

Political stalemate; is it worth it? Does replacing the incumbent president by its constitutional successor, the only viable way to stabilize the rotten politics that this (in) famous country have?

For a normal, ordinary citizen that doesn't even had any access to first hand information disseminated by the media, I believe it is necessary that the palace of Malacañang be transparent in the issue of bribery. Everyone knows that it against the constitution if an elected public official receives any kind of gifts coming from the president or any other institution, be it money in the form of cash or any other valuable gifts. Money coming from bribe is still illegal be it an old practice!

Old habits die hard as the cliché goes but it doesn't mean that corruption in the government cannot be eradicated. If ousting the incumbent president solves this issue, then I, as one of its citizens agrees to it. However, I still had my doubts whether the constitutional successor of the president is capable of reforming the soiled politics of this country, or whether the said successor wouldn't end up the same as his predecessors.

At the end of the day, however, whether the country changed leadership or not, the same question still stays the same; where in the world did they get that 500,000 Philippine pesos cash that was allegedly bribed to local government officials? Was it from the national treasury that each tax payers spared, taken from their salaries or was it an illegally obtained money? Read More......

Mariel Rodriguez: Big Brother Philippines Housemate!

mariel rodriguez, pbb, pinoy pig brother celebrity edition 2, housemate, uber,
Mariel Rodriguez, the host of the Big Brother Philippines Celebrity Edition show Uber, is now an official house mate! The said twist in the show was really unexpected, not just for the viewing public but for the host herself, since she wasn't notified early on that she would be included as a house mate. Poor Mariel, she had the intuition already that she might be forcefully be included as one of the house mates but she still worked as the Uber host up to today not knowing that it's her last day as its host and the start of being a house mate. By looking at her reaction, she really didn't expect it and least to say made her cry. I pity her for being so unprepared, imagine she doesn't even had any clothes with her as she entered through the confession room, since she was coerced. Well this is a new and exciting chapter on the said show, so I'm going to stick my eyes glued on the said show up until it's end.

Go! Go! Mariel! We, the viewers of your show since season 1 up late will miss you.

P.S. Do your best, whether you're going to be a temporary house mate for a while, or a permanent house mate. Read More......

questions... indifference...

Was it sheer indifference or am I just too dense to notice? Does becoming a psychologist makes you a cold-hearted individual that only looks at life as a matter that needs constant treatment? Are psychologists devoid of emotions to even shed a tear?

Questions... all questions... but no specific and generic answer - nothing. I really felt indifferent. Why does it had to be that way? The situation asks for me to spare a tear, to mourn, to weep, to ask for comfort, and to seek for solace, yet I didn't even felt any of it! Does lack of knowledge on the deceased person affects your mental cognition and emotional aspects?

Bakit nga naman ako iiyak, eh di ko nga alam kung sino yung kamaganak ko na yun na namatay.

I don't know he ever existed to be called one of my grandfathers. More so I don't recall having a deep emotional ties with him, and up to the end of the burial ceremony I'm asking myself whether our paths had crossed just once prior his death. Maybe if given the chance to turn back time, I will spend just a single day to be with him to be able to know him, so that I won't felt indifferent or even dettached.

May the Lord grant him everlasting peace now that he's with Him.

Edit: If you're reading this, I'm so sorry. I'm still trying to find a little solace deep down in my heart for my deceased grandfather. Read More......

Celebrity Big Brother Housemates: Partially Unveiled

victor basa, pbb celebrity edition, big brother

Victor Basa, Wil Devaughn, Baron Geisler, Donald Geisler, Ruben Gonzaga, and several others not yet allowed to the enter the house will comprise the male celebrity house mates of the Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2, while Yayo Aguila, Riza Santos (Ms. Canada representative for Ms. Earth), Jen Da Silva and Marylaine Viernes (from the 26K Deal or No Deal), Megan Young (from Kokey) and others yet to be revealed also were the next female celebrity house mates who will stay at a single house full of cameras for about 72 days.

This is voyeurism at its finest level! I just can't help but looked stunned and drool over when the next celebrity house mates were unveiled yesterday. I had never imagined that the Big Brother producers would let such luscious, gorgeous, and yummy models and celebrities to be a part of the so-called house mates of the next celebrity edition of the said show. I wondered why they chose those celebrities and quasi-celebrities to be a part of the said show? Was it for ratings purposes? Or was it for plain business and career move?

As I recalled, if not for the despised Wendy Valdez, season 2 of the said show will not reach a good rating even if they did tried to reinvent it. Why? Because all of the season 2 house mates seems like playing around to be the darling of the crowd. Will the next celebrity edition of Big Brother would act the same as that of it's predecessor? Or will they act real despite all the cameras rolling for about 24/7?

Traffic Hazard: Jake Cuenca

jake cuenca, jake cuenca bench billboardJake Cuenca's Bench billboards along EDSA or even in Rotonda are really hazardous to female and female-hearted male motorists alike. For my opinion, it would really insinuate a lot of traffic on the said roads, hence it's advisable if motorists just re-route and leave the said roads to be blocked by the aforementioned people. *insert grin here* It's not always that you can see a luscious body of a sassy young male wearing skimpy undergarments being exposed for you to salivate, right? *insert high pitched laugh here*

But does the said billboard matter? Of course it does! As a country "living in billboard hell", as Sen. Santiago once said, it does promote advertiser's products to the consumers even at the extent of selling sex as a commodity and much worse even causing eye strain and traffic to viewers looking at it; it really does matter. Imagine seeing Jake Cuenca wearing those skimpy undergarments, a lot of fans of the said actor would and definitely would buy the same type of products being endorsed.by him, even if the said viewer of the billboard is a female.

Anyway, what's the main reason why I'm blogging this about? My simple answer, I've seen the said billboard both at North Edsa, and another one near Guadalupe or Makati, and I can't help but stare at it. Just imagine if most motorist would stop by and stare at the said billboards, it would cause commotion and traffic that would entail a lot of distress to our poor traffic enforcers. More over I just don't see the point why advertisers makes huge billboards with sex as its theme background on it! Does sex themed things really produces a lot of money? (Edit: Just pondering over; how can you even sell undergarments without using it as a theme? Lol)

No offense to Jake Cuenca, but having that luscious and yummy body to die for being exposed on a billboard really causes a lot of eye strain. Read More......

Arroyo's impeachment, and yet again another one

gloria macapagal arroyo, president, philippines, impeachmentImpeachment, and yet again another impeachment for the incumbent (in) famous president of the Philippines tagged with a lot of administrative and criminal cases. How in the world are they going to impeach a president who holds in the neck, most of the officials trying to file the case against her? Is it just a lie? Or worst still just a play displayed for the viewing Filipino public?

Has the speaker of the congress, Cong. Jose de Venecia, eaten his words when he said the following line in an interview?
"This is an explosive (bribery) scandal and if I endorse it right away I might be contributing to a scandal," (-Source: Phil. Star)

What a laugh...? Ha! Ha! Ha! *insert sarcastic remark*

I, as one of the citizens of the Philippines, do here by state, that I'm so TIRED of all these MESS, YOU, Politician are making. I am so SADDENED by the fact that ALL of YOU are trying to just make YOURSELVES UNWORTHY of your positions. YOU ALL where just making FUN OF YOURSELVES, so stop making a MORO-MORO just to protect a single person unworthier in the position she's enjoying as compared to you.

I pray solemnly that God may bring enlightenment into YOUR MONEY clouded thoughts. May He permit YOU all to think critically for the sake of the rest of the Filipinos, and not for the sake of a single person stealing from the people's treasury with half of which going towards to YOUR pockets.

Formatting Flash Drive or Memory Stick

Virus, Trojans... whatever! My flash drive este memory stick almost had been destroyed! I just don't know how that happened; how my flash drive had been infested by such a very, very annoying pest of a Trojan in a sector that I don't even know that exist in the said removable drive (H:\Recycle Bin\Info.exe) but I had a very bad hint about how that occurred.

Just today, this morning, someone with the unconventional type of a device called a floppy disk had accessed our computer, and guess what? The said diskette was infected by a Trojan something blah, blah, blah that I don't even understand about that was contained in an executable file called Japanese girls. But how in the world that a single detected Trojan proliferated that fast? Well that's another question that I'm trying to uncover.

With regards to the flash drive? As I said it was almost damaged since I can't access it due to the said infestation. The computer detects it as a removable drive, but it doesn't auto play, nor it doesn't open, even if I tried to double click the icon for the removable drive the only thing that I can see was Not Accessible pop up dialog box. Hence, I had no option left but to format the said flash drive. Lucky for me the said flash drive doesn't even contain any important documents to be retrieved prior to my decision of formatting it.

I don't know now if the said formatted flash drive would work perfectly still like the first time that I had bought it, or it's still functional up to today, since after I had formatted it in Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2, I had not even tried to access or open it again for fear of another infestation of the said annoying Trojans.

Trojans on the computer? I don't know whether they were thoroughly cleaned by Microsoft Windows Defender, but I'm hoping that all those things that makes the computer so wreck be erased.

If ever you also encountered the said problem with regards to your flash drive, I can only suggest the same thing as the others suggest - to format it. It's the best possible option left, aside from buying a new one.

Here's the steps on how to format your flash drive:
  1. First plug your flash drive on the USB slot and check if it's still detected by My Computer
  2. In My Computer, check whether you can access your flash drive.
  3. If it says you can't access it by normal double clicking nor right click open, then proceed to formating it.
  4. Right click your flash drive, then look for the format option.
  5. Under format option, you can choose either FAT32 or the other option. (Don't know which one is best since under my experience I only got FAT32)
  6. Then press start for default option. Wait until finished, and there you have your formatted flash drive.

Monet's Le Pont d'Argenteuil: Damaged

Honestly speaking, I had never seen a work of art most revered by the world with my own eyes, so close as to even touching it. That's is why I'm so heart-fallen when I had read from BBC News that one of the paintings of Claude Monet, a renowned painter of the Le Pont d'Argenteuil, had been damaged at the museum it had been placed under custody with.

It's such a shame that instead of looking at the paintings with admiration and fascination, five unknown people who had broke in the Musee d'Orsay gallery had managed to put a four (4) inch hole on the said painting. How in the world could the possible destroy a cultural artifact that was known not just in France, but in the whole world? I'm so saddened by the fact that I haven't even seen a real Monet painting, and then now I would read that It's now damaged! Those people were blessed to see such a work of art but why vandalize it?

Insurance Policies

Ever had a problem with insurances? Or have you encountered people who "suffered" from being fooled by the insurance companies that they had entrusted their things with (e.g. car insurance, life insurance, policies, retirement policies, health insurance)? What might had been your and their general conclusion on all insurance policies available? The following were the ones I've been hearing about, and in my experience, I had also encountered.

I'm not saying that most of the time insurance companies just trick you on buying the said policies that should protect your valuables, and after maturity of the policies you will find out that you were fooled since you can't retrieve the service that was to be allotted for what you had payed. Or worst still, when you needed the said insurance as is it an urgent need, you will found out that your agent or the company had filed a bankruptcy for most of its service that it offered.

Of course, you will feel down hearted and re-think why had you even bought the said insurance with high maintaining policies that you had paid dearly then just ending up in sink hole. If you had just find a some best quoting solution then you might not had ended up on being one of the so called victims of poor mismanagement. If you just had learned early on that there is an online site called Advantage Auto Quotes then you should have not been whining over for what you had encountered with your previous insurances.

Anyway, to those who had just acquired a new car or any type of automobile, or just needed an insurance for your valuables, I suggest you check out Advantage Auto Quotes so as to find the best insurance policies that you might need for the said automobiles be it for Coverage For Sports Car, Business Insurance, Online Insurance Policy, or any Automobile Insurance Policies. The said site offers anything from the best insurance policies from the best insurance agents out there like AIG, Allstate, eSurance, and Liberty Mutual, so you wont lose anything in the end and don't end up as one of the few victims that I'm talking about.

automatic update

OMG! OMG! I accidentally triggered the automatic update function of the windows operating system that our computer is running to. Gosh... now it eats a lot of space on the hopefully surviving hard drive with almost half a gig space left. (The files need to go on backup!)

I don't know how to stop the said update anymore. I just hate it! I can't find the word cancel or pause so as to stop it from downloading all those security updates for windows media player 11 and the operating system itself that where queued there for ages.

Gosh... Gosh... Gosh... I should have been careful on clicking that icon. Now I don't know how to make the said thing stop... Read More......

disney spoof...

Don't know whether I'd be happy or I'm going to laugh my heart out on this spoof that I had fished from youtube itself. It's really quite defamatory when children would view it, since most of the characters associated in this short spoof were the ones idolized most by the children.

However, this spoofs makes the subliminal message of each and every Disney movie made, more prominent. I know you all know that most of the time people rant about animations' hidden messages enveloped in each scene, and that most of the time parents who had viewed them, complains on how it corrupts the minds of the innocents viewing it. Now, this spoof clearly demonstrates it all, with just a single song, it releases, for my part, every subliminal messages I had ever known when I was watching the said Disney movies.

Let me quote what Perez Hilton had said in his blog, in relation to this post, that Disney has the touch on making such bitches ever known. Read More......

Manny Pacquiao Won

The much awaited second fight of Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Barrera has finally ended, and for the second time it's still Manny Pacquiao who had won! So what will happen to Marco Antonio Barrera after he had eaten what he had said in the pre-fight? According to the GMA 7 news, he might be forced to retire due to his failure to win for the second time against Pacquiao, more so due to his consecutive loses against other boxers. Ain't I hearing the same escape goat of an alibi again? As I recalled promptly and correctly, Erik Morales also had said the same thing when he lost to Manny Pacquiao before.

Anyway, the Filipino's Boxing Champ won in a unanimous decision from the 12 round fight, and the score cards were as follows:
Judge Tom Schreck scored it 115-112 for Pacquiao, while Jerry Roth and Glenn Trowbridge both favoured Pacquiao 118-109. The Associated Press also gave it to Pacquiao, 116-111.
(Chronicle journal)

Isn't that what boxing analyst had viewed prior to the fight, that Manny Pacquiao had the upper hand against his opponent? True to what they'd all been blabber about, it does end up the same as what they had expected, but the turning point of the fight was not about who had won, but instead who was the one who had shown the will to win. Both players had remained standing up to the very last round, which is of course very unexpected since both refused to be knocked-out, and this is, I think the best part of it.

But the question still remains the same anyway, am I going to be proud for him? Well, part of me wanted to go and rejoice since another Filipino had made a name in the field of sports, but at the end of the day, it's still just Manny Pacquiao achievement, and not the rest of the community.

P.S. Don't get me wrong, but this is what I'm feeling right now. I'm feeling kind of indifferent.

can moths be really messenger from the dead?

Last time I had included in my post something about a moth as a messenger from the dead. Though again, I reiterate that the said notion doesn't have validity nor sources to back it up, since it's purely a Philippine folklore superstition passed on from word of mouth, I find it really weird since just two days ago another moth just flew inside the house.

The moth that flew inside the house was same as the picture above. I really don't know much about the said superstition but so far as I recalled it from past experiences, my mother used to tell me that somebody might be missing someone in the house, or that somebody might want to be remembered by someone that's why the moth had flew in.

However, I'm pondering whether it has some connection with people nearly or almost near in his or her death bed, just like the cat in the hospital as what Rich had written in her blog. Since, prior to the moth's appearance in our house, our family had already received a dreaded message stating that a relative had been hospitalized and in his critical stage, and when it (the moth) flew inside the house and stayed there for almost two days another message was received stating that one of my grandfathers, from my father's side had passed away already already, and just the same time I had found that the moth that had arrived in the house was also dead.

Quite shocking though, that the said message woke us up early in the morning. However, is it really coincidence that the moth's existence in our house suggests that somebody had been wished to be remembered before his or her death?

ABC Network Apologizes for Racial Slur

As I viewed it, though ABC Network had apologized for the discriminatory line the show Desperate Housewives had slipped through its season 4 premier, I still feel that they needed to retract the said line the same way as how they started and made it - through a script aired through the television.

According to ABS-CBN news correspondent based on North America who had acquired a short statement from the said network:

"The producers of Desperate Housewives and ABC Studios offer our sincere apologies for any offence (sic. offense) caused [by the insulting remark] in the season premier, ...There was no intent to disparage the integrity of any aspect of the medical community in the Philippines."

A short statement? Was that enough for an entire population being berated? I think not! They might not even write an apology if they were not forced to by the embassies, online petitions, and the Philippine Medical Association letters asking them to make a public apology on how they belittle the educational foundation of doctors in the third world Philippines.

It's quite shameful though that most of the time Filipino doctors and nurses were the ones who served the aged and sick people of some foreign lands, because the said foreign lands offers high compensations as compared to the Philippines per se. If however, the Philippines had just the same benefits and compensations those foreign lands offers then I think that most of the health care practitioners wouldn't end up helping and caring for those people in other countries.

Now, I am also pondering, what's next discriminatory line would they slipped through their programs and who's next in your line? As I've read there were racial issues already against African Americans, Chinese Americans, and other races who had migrated to the said land of milk and honey.

teri hatcher's derogatory remark

Transcript: “Okay, before we go any further, can I check those diplomas? Cause I would just like to make sure they are not from some med school in the Philippines.”

Uhm... like what is this? Is this an acceptable desperate housewives script aired over the US and a few select countries airing the said show? Is there such a moderating body in the US that check every DISCRIMINATORY remarks made by the said show?

I think there isn't, because you all know what? It reached the news of the country that the said show discriminates! How dare the producers and writers of that show to include that demeaning and derogatory line Teri Hatcher had said? Are they too stupid enough to not even think that most of their health care workers are Filipinos! First and foremost can they present valid evidence that Filipino Medical Doctors are way too incompetent as compared to their doctors? Was there a scientific evidence that proves their claim?

The Philippines may be a third world country that faces a lot of global issues, but how dare them (the script writers) think that they're far too superior than the rest of the world combined! Not all the time, a first world country can produce the best of the crop, sometimes even third world countries does and it's far better!

If they think that the said line stirs a lot of media exposure then definitely it does, but at the expense of dragging a negative connotation on the people or a certain nationality that is affected. If however, they (the script writers) think that the said line is a means to say that's just some sort of American Pun, well then the said racist remark is far unacceptable as a pun, and it should definitely be retracted! slipping moment

BLAG!

It's the only thing that I heard after I slipped directly to the floor, and now...

OUCH!

It hurts! It really hurts. I do hope nothing is fractured or damaged within my right arm, specifically my elbow, because I think it endured most of my weight as I slipped directly into the shiny floor.

Lesson learned: Never walk on shiny floors with damp feet, and better wear rubber slippers. Hay, why did I forget to wear my slippers at night while traversing the living room going directly to the scary spot the washroom, toilet or comfort room, whatever it is called!

A view from my desktop.

I had received a tag from a friend and a fellow blogger, Emmyrose, about this post you all are about to be reading, and I thank her for giving me the opportunity to join this fun little game. Though I must admit, after reading iRonnie's post I found myself in an awkward situation since as you can see below that I'm deviating from the purpose of the game - customization of the desktop wallpaper. Well what can I say, I'm used to the default wallpaper provided by Microsoft itself, hence I provided you with the screen shot below.

I had forgotten when the first time we had used this wallpaper, but if I recalled it quite properly, the said wallpaper might span for almost a year now without any modifications. But for what reason did I maintain such wallpaper? The only thing that I can spare as an explanation was that I find it hard to make another user or profile that I'm going to customize since I find the said thing tedious, since all of us (family members) are using only one account - the administrator's account.

Anyway, as you can see there are a lot of icons there in the said desktop, and if you all permit the same reasoning, it's because most of us (family members) doesn't want the process of clicking through the selection of programs before ending to the one we normally use.

Now I'm passing the experience of the said task to the following persons:
Makoy
Rich
Julai
Leah
Darwin

=Copy Starts Here=

My Desktop Free View Instruction:

A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. You can do a screen capture by:

[1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).

[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).

technorati not updating!

I just can't believe it, first Google seems not to cache my web page entirely in their index, and now technorati also had the same problem, it doesn't update my post in their index even if I manually ping it. What's wrong with both of them? Why can't they let their tiny little spiders cache my precious web site?

I do hope someone would enlighten me on both these issues since I'm not a whiz-kid of some kind when it comes to internet related stuffs. More so, I'm really having a hard time trying to decipher things on my own without any background at all on what am I going to do.

Edit: By the way, both problems doesn't occur on my other blog hosted by blogger blogspot. Does this problem occurs only to customized domains and sub-domains? Read More......

Is Blogmad Over? Well Not!

Am I the only one seeing this today, at 2:10 in the morning +8:00 GMT time? Or has been Blogmad bankrupt that it can't even support their own domain?

So now what will happen with all of my credits left there? I hardly had any visitors for them since like five months *insert exaggeration here*. Honestly, like I had only a few hits from them. It seems now they had abandoned the site.

Edit: Just checked again the site and now it's up! I do hope next time they renew their domain early.

Gosh... now I felt ashamed of asking another member of the said site if he can access it. Read More......

new evolution of man!

The first time that I've seen this shampoo and conditioner campaign ad I can't help myself from laughing because it seems that the missing link that scientist had been uncovering to fit for the evolution of man theory by Charles Darwin had been solved relentlessly.

No offense to the actor and actress involved in this commercial, but I guess I'm going to use this product if it would be available to the nearest sari-sari store rather than the new shampoo commercial that is currently being endorsed by a lot of celebrities. Read More......

Canned Vienna Sausages to Ortigas

Canned Vienna Sausages to Ortigas... Canned Vienna Sausages to Ortigas.

Approaching Ortigas Station... Thank you for riding the Canned Vienna Sausage.

Just thinking... What if they changed the usual recording of the before bastardized sardines, ehem, I mean Metro Rail Transit (M.R.T.) to what is now appropriately Canned Vienna Sausages. Isn't it much cooler... *LOL insert here*

But why whine about the canned sausages if I don't normally ride it going to work, because I work at home with the family business? The reason was because my dear old cousin, if I mean old, old enough to take care of herself, asked me if I can accompany her going towards her orientation to work; and because she said it would not take long enough to wait the whole day, which I know isn't because orientations normally goes around from morning to dusk, I agreed asking for reassurance that it wouldn't spoil my whole day.

So here we go, wake up too early in the morning, out by six in the morning and lined for about 30 minutes just to have a decent FX ride going to MRT Quezon Avenue. The ride going to MRT was long as usual, but I felt comfortable because my feet are not strained from standing, and likewise it's air-conditioned! However, reality strikes when we stepped out of the cab and started walking towards the entrance of the station.

Gosh.... was all I can think of. Are we trying to beat the Guinness World Record of India for most people riding the train? I think you all can imagine how India became popular with that, that even the doors of the train had people clambering out just to go to either their work or home. Well, at least the MRT's can close its doors as it's conseulo de bobo!

Truth be told, you can't drop a needle or even pin in the said station when rush hour strikes because definitely you can't afford to find it in that multitude of people wishing not to be late for their work. That was the second station by the way from the North but it's already packed with a lot of people.

How can I say this? How much did the National Government loaned for this project that the taxpayers still paying up to now? Is the said canned sausages really maintained perfectly enough for the conduciveness of the people riding it? You all decide if it really is maintained or not. Read More......

heart warming story

I just like to share this story to all of you who passes by this web page. I received it by mail and it really touched my heart, and caused me teary eyed. I do hope you find some time reading the said story of an unknown author.

Half of the story is presented here in the home page, and the rest could be found in the selected post page, just click continue reading to finish the said heart warming story.

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?"

The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."

Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care anymore? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"

The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair.

"Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked.

Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said :

"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say "I Love You". I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything.

The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly.

And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed.

Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel
said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

Signed with Love from God, Jesus and Me.

birtney, britney... spoof

His body is way to better than the real Britney in the VMA. This video is performed by Greg Scarnici by the way.

Anyway with the leave Britney alone thing... that would somehow happen if she acted upon with great discretion; more so, I do hope she would somehow, a least be sober for the sake of her children. Her children are the ones suffering the most on the way she was acting erratically. I hope she realizes that in time before her children lost their respect for both their parents.

Somehow, I still believe that Ms. Spears will get over this stage in her life. She needs a good companion able to listen to what she wished to say; a companion that knows how to empathize with what she really feel.

mybloglog: a yahoo service?

Is there a race for online domination from the two giant companies, Yahoo! and Google, because it seems to be the trend? Last time that I had checked every online community that I belong to they were still independent sites not under the services of either of the two aforementioned companies. But today, as I logged-in to Mybloglog it's now powered by Yahoo! services, while Photobucket was powered by Google services.

It's not that I'm against the "complete online domination" of the two, hell no, I'm so used to it already, but every time they acquire something, the tedious process of migrating from your previous account to either Yahoo! or Google happens. Can't they just used the same old details of your previous account without deleting your pictures and the like? Just a thought... because Mybloglog deleted my photo and it really irritates me because I need to re-upload it again to that hell of an ajax thingy that always send out errors. Read More......

bathroom lady...

The lady in the our bathroom strikes again! I thought she had rested in peace and that she'll no longer appear swooshing past the house, but just today, my mother had seen her again. She walk past my mother going towards the bathroom, and mistakenly asked me if I went out of the bed going towards to the direction she had mentioned which in fact I hadn't done because I was still in bed when she asked me.

I don't know if you're going to believe it or not, but most of us (family members) have some untapped psychic abilities, not that sensationalized psychic abilities though of making objects move and the like, but I think most of us had the ability to see spirits that lurkes within the house. What my mother had seen was the same thing that I had previously been used to seeing before, a lady dressed in white, swooshing past every corridor until she stops in the bathroom. Since then, I'm so used to that spirit but I had no idea who she was nor her reason why she always ends up in the bathroom.

What's with the bathroom? I don't know, and I don't want to uncover it. I'm already okay with seeing few astray spirits, and I don't want to fully open that ability or what paranormal experts says "third eye", because I don't want to dwell into a world I had no relation to or idea with. Besides that I don't want to become a medium of bridging the two dimensions (e.g. shinigami) because my psychological profession doesn't accept such notion or belief since it's unreplicable to most in the field.

Aside from these, big moths just keep flying inside the house. I can't find any source though to validate the notion of what my mother had stressed before that moths are messengers from the dead, yet so far I believe her since this month, two big moths just flew inside the house days prior the commemoration of the death anniversaries of my uncle and grandmother. care for another round

Patrick On Music strummed his guitar as he reminisced his past experiences, and the places he remembered so well, singing the lines he had written towards the day "A Lil Sumptin Sumptin, a lil' sumptin' sumptin', give me a little something to satisfy me, cause life in Vegas is hard as rock. ooh... ooh.. a lil' sumptin' sumptin'."

However, DCR blogs' friends suggests that Patrick's writing and singing capabilities could be enhanced if he employed comedy plus drama and other genres to the songs he will write to be able to hit it big in the industry. They said that if he can shift from different genres he could reach a lot of audience that would support him.

More so, authors of Internet Marketing Minds suggested to him that he could make money online if he podcast most of his compositions with proper book markings in them. "Book marks" they said, "is the key essence of being a successful online professional"

Moreover, Blogolope main man, said to him directly "to be popular in bookmarks means that you'll gain a lot of viewers that would support you, hence you can have everything you needed, and buy a Home with Heather, in Vegas"

Patrick did as what others suggested him to, hence his name and music appears most of the time in the blogosphere if seached upon.

Notice: This is just a simple story drawn from my imagination, names and places stated upon are just fictional, nothing more. This post was made in order to satisfy the "link-loving" project I was a member to. All links provided may offer different things that might not correlate with what I've written in my story about. Feel free to check them too if you had time.

Is Yahoo! Down?

Are Yahoo! servers down today September 19, 2007 +8:00 GMT?

I just can't access Yahoo! Mail directly, as in typing the URL in the address bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer, though still, I can access the said site by logging in in their main domain Yahoo!, which is a tedious process. More so I tried using Mozilla Firefox 2 browser to check if I can access the said Yahoo! Mail, but unfortunately a redirection error message occurred stating that it happens if the browsers does not accept cookies. This is just too weird because my Mozilla Firefox Browser has a lenient status with regards to accepting cookies, while the Internet Explorer was set into medium privacy settings.

Another problem I've been experiencing with Yahoo! today, was their Yahoo! Messenger. It seems that I'm having a hard time logging in to the said application, or better yet stated I can't log-in! It just stays there in the process of signing-in for more than five minutes then it would return back to it's previous state, asking for your Yahoo! ID and password.

This really annoys me, because Yahoo! didn't even had any notification that they would had a downtime for maintenance in the Pacific Region. Read More......

Christian Bautista: Lupang Hinirang Short Version

I intend not to blog this about since he did publicly apologize already for his failure to correctly sing the Philippine National Anthem, however, since Piolo Pascual just made his commentary today it seemed as though it's a big issue.

Well, not everyone can sing correctly the national anthem with correct melody and harmony, so for me it's not a big deal at all. However, why in the world would Piolo Pascual assert to the viewing public that people are making fun of his friend? Are we making fun of him? We aren't making fun of him! Most of us had accepted the fact that he can, also by slim chance make mistakes, and that happened already while he was singing the said national anthem. Most of us had rested the issue, as a respect for his apology, so why in the world, Mr. Piolo Pascual, are you including yourself in the issue?

It's a known value, of course, that you need to help a friend in need, but I think making allegations that the viewing public is making fun of Christian Bautista is a complete ballyhoo and in fact baseless.

PS. To Piolo Pascual, please just stop singing ballad songs, it really irritates my ears. Read More......

Britney dropped by management

Just as what I've been expecting, Britney Spears was dropped by her management! BBC News says that due to the pop star's erratic behavior and current circumstances they had severed their ties professionally with her.

Poor Britney, Tori Amos was definitely right with her song made just for you.
