Jumper: An Insight

Jumper, Steven GouldFiction can sometimes lead its readers to world of unimaginable things that are seldom documented due to lack of information. However sometimes it goes over board on giving false pretenses that something of unexplained origin do exists. Just like this novel written by Steven Gould.

Jumper, as it literally implies, talks about a young adult with extraordinary characteristic known to man - teleportation. As the title itself suggests, the story revolves around the said paranormal ability with which its origins were uncertain even up to the end.

Despite the good concept presented by the author, I, as a reader, was still left hanging in the end as I closed in to the final paragraph, since a lot of rhetorical questions presented wasn't even dealt with properly. It seems, just like the protagonists, David "Davy" Rice, the story also jumped from one plot to another barely making any coherent connection. At first, the plot would lead you to a robber's world then in a turn of a page, you'll end up grieving in the same way as those who had someone taken away from them, and in an instant you'll be in the avenger's shoes doing things particularly against the standard norms. All such things existed within the book to give adequate flavor that wasn't even satisfying.

Now my question still exist, despite giving a hand to help, the protagonists, in itself wasn't purely a goody-old eighteen years old adult, he was, for a fact a criminal and still at large. Despite all the help he had extended, he still wasn't vindicated of the crime he had committed. Does the author intend to shrug that thing off and get a way with almost all the riches not belonging to the primary character? And second how did such ability prevail when no origin was described? Was it by mere chance or genetics that Davy acquired such exceptional ability?

Now, deciding on whether to recommend this or not is hard. The book per se was good and maybe it would be even better if I had read the sequels after this, and thus may shed light to all of the questions that precipitate inside my head.

Blogexplosion

Again, I'm going to try to resubmit my blog to blog explosion after being declined for unfavorable reason... no recent post. I just hope this time this small post will qualify as an entry for their uber personnels that are, if I'm right, manually checking each and every site that was submitted to them.

But what is blog explosion? Blog explosion is a traffic exchange that generates free traffic to your site in exchange of, you visit other sites as well. However, after they had changed management, their service declined a lot, causing a lot of stress to its members (i.e. waiting for a your blog to be approved for more than a month or so).

If you wish to try this service out, then check it. Read More......
