At first, I thought this movie was about a war, since soldiers were depicted at the very beginning of the said flick, but I was definitely wrong with my initial assumption. It wasn't. Outpost, wasn't about a simple war, but it's about survival, to live up to the very end, and to escape ubiquitous danger that lurks ahead.

Honestly speaking, this was the first movie that made me nauseated rather than utterly scared, because of how brutally things were depicted. Unlike most war oriented and based movies that had explosives in the background, protagonist's nearly escaping death, and vengeance obtaining in the end causing triumphant victory over the oppressors; Outpost, wasn't even that. It wasn't even the typical tell-tale ending as well. What's so scary about this movie was that no protagonist survived, all of them were tortured to their death, and not a single soldier dispatched survived as well.

But really, how can someone escape death when you really don't know the capabilities of your oppressors, much more realizing that you're actually fighting undead people from a certain defunct military regime? Their unpreparedness towards the unknown realms that they had entered caused them to risked their lives one by one, until all of them had perished prior to the arrival of the military support they had even requested. How did they end up? Some of the soldiers were nailed together in the head and were exposed to their comrade, the other one strangled to death until his eyes and brain popped out of him, while the other was stabbed multiple times until no area of his body was recognizable.

This is one hell of a scary movie that isn't recommendable to viewing public with heart ailment or other related illnesses. Much more it isn't really recommendable to those romantic type viewers, since they might just close their players and hide beneath the couch half expecting some undead experimented military officers barging through their doors with a blink of an eye. Publicity is still publicity be it negative or not, hence a star or starlet's scandalous yet at times, visually stimulating erotic exhibitionism could stir people's interest to grab a piece of what is being served. This is an ailment that cannot be easily mended despite every treatment and prevention.

But why do a lot of stars and quasi-stars (e.g. Paolo Serrano) alike end up using such salacious schemes to attract attention? The answer to such question is way to complex that it covers a lot of covert factors that needed to be tackled separately. Nonetheless, putting it in simpler terms, such action can be generalized as "for publicity's sake."

Publicity, if it isn't the primary factor for an actor to succeed, might be second only to acting skills, abilities and expertise. Hence even if an actor was blessed with such superb talents but exposure isn't enough, how can the actor become a house-hold name? His efforts in perfecting his craft just ends up in futility, and no actor would like to step out of the spotlight they had grown to love and be used to. Thus, others resort to exposing a lot of skin or worst baring it all for public to look at.

In a few instances actors who had exposed their skin, but left something for the imagination, were the ones that were sought after by the viewers. Their career change paved way to a lot of opportunities which included mature roles they never had any experience with. But what about some quasi-stars a.k.a. starlets like Paolo Serrano?

Paolo Serrano's videos, as one might put it, exposed everything that should be left for the imaginative mind to recreate. The videos per se was like a buffet, almost everything was served to the delightful and drooling audience but the dessert wasn't included which caused viewers to crave some more, to satisfy their appetites. Or better yet, putting it in a more convenient way, an almost half boiled water served for coffee.

But how was such scandalous flicks leaked over the internet? The only answer I could give was that some perfidious person he had confided with, to bare and to play himself to gratification, had not been honest from the very beginning of their online escapade, and started capturing everything that had happened without consent from the latter person, which in this case is Paolo Serrano.

However could this be called publicity? Yes, and it's a negative one on behalf of the said quasi-star. But, as most entertainment writers say "negative publicity is better than no publicity at all." Well, we'll just wait until he gives out his official statement, that is if he is willing to really give a statement.

How to get over Piolo Pascual?

This is one of the few keywords that my site receives, though for a fact that I only feature him once on this site. With all honesty, I can't help but smirk on how simple minded the searcher had been when using the internet. Yes, internet provides a lot of answers to the simplest even up to the complex question a human mind could produce. However with such question as of above, I don't know.

Anyway, the first thing that comes to my mind was why did the searcher seek answer to such trivial, and at times far fetched question. Was she or he even personally or intimately related to the star, Piolo Pascual, or was he or she just a fan, falling out to be completely obsessed with him?

Whatever his or her reasons were, getting completely over with someone is difficult, especially if the person you wish to get over isn't even related to you; as of the case of the searcher with Piolo. Who wouldn't even fall completely in love with such an irresistable lad?

Anyway, since the question was how not to lose someone's sanity over Piolo, the first thing that this person need to do was to accept the fact that he or she had a feeling not reciprocated. Since the said feeling isn't reciprocated, don't go over board to find acceptance by stalking, just stop there and think hard and ask was it worth it to love someone who isn't loving you back?

Second, if you still can't avoid thinking about Piolo, do something worth while to stop yourself from being compulsive. Relax and do yoga, or read something not Piolo related. Never search for anything that is associated with him.

Third, since Piolo is a star, don't fantasize about him, even if you're watching his shows. If you can't help yourself, then stay away from the television or any Piolo related things.

Lastly, if all else fails seek professional help, a psychologist perhaps, that can help you sort out your behavior problem.

Again let me recapitulate, acceptance is the key to fully remove the burden you might feeling towards someone. Stop thinking about the person or better yet stop dragging yourself to worry too much about that person. Do something worth while with your time and lastly, seek professional services. Now that those are said, I do hope I'd shed something helpful to your troubled mind, and I do hope you won't end up being an obsessed stalker.
