To become a guardian fairy, an apprentice should be able to fulfill the final act of courage and bravery, and that is to sacrifice yourself in saving someone from your own magical realm. On the other hand, however, Bloom, the last survivor from Domino, doesn't even have anybody to save since her kingdom was ruthlessly destroyed by the ancient witches and that all of its inhabitants including the king and queen, her birth parents, were all missing. Thus, unlike her friends whom will be entrusted with the power of harmony and will become guardian fairies of their magical realms at the day of the gifts in Alfea, she will remain an apprentice fairy up to the end. Not unless she'll be able to know the whereabouts of her birth parents and save them. But where should she begin finding them?

The story of "The Secret of the Lost Kingdom" is the follow up to the finished third season of the cartoon, The Winx Club, where it picks up to the last mission the protagonist, Bloom, wanted to do, to someday find her real parents and reunite their family.

The movie began with the quest of finding the blacksmith Hagen, the master of shining steel, who might shed some light into Bloom's parents whereabouts. It's an expedition that led her and her friends, Stella, Musa, Techna, Flora and Layla, in a solitary Pagoda situated on a frigid mountain guarded by steel robots just to find the blacksmith that had forged the powerful sword of King Oritel; with which the blacksmith alone has the ability of tracing its location. Unfortunately, Hagen, doesn't even have the slightest idea on to where the sword might be. Despite doing his best to find its location for more than seventeen years, he still had no luck on pin pointing its whereabouts. Hence, Bloom and her friends mission was a complete failure, and thus there's no other option for her but to return to her foster parents on Earth and live the life she had used to.

Despite her hopes being doused by the harsh truth that her birth parents might be lost forever in the vast magical dimension, Bloom nevertheless, hadn't let go. She had clung on to what she firmly believed, that maybe someday their family might be reunited once more. Thus this preserved her will long enough for her to uncover a clue that would perfectly lead her to her estranged parents. That's all thanks to her sister, Daphne, who in her dream had provided her the information of an essential artifact that might uncover their parents location if they're still alive - the book of destiny.

The book destiny, upon Bloom retrieval of it, uncovered a prophecy about her future that must be fulfilled in order to restore a kingdom that was lost. Lord Bartleby, the spirit scribe, also had told her that their majesties weren't dead, yet they were trapped in a dimension where magical powers were suppressed - the Obsidian Dimension. However, the scribe didn't elaborate further on to where the entrance to the said dimension was specifically located in Magix for he only had limited time.

Upon returning to Alfea to seek for more clues, the school was attacked by Mandragora who was under the command of the three spirits of the ancient witches. She, together with her bug army had destroyed the entirety of Alfea, just to determine who hold the power that had awaken the king's sword. Luckily, before she truly obliterate the entire fairies school, she was stopped by the Winx together with their headmistress Ms. Faragonda. Mandragora however had escaped and reported to her masters back at the Obsidian Dimension.

The story continued on until Bloom and her friends were able to find the Obsidian Dimension and were able to penetrate the heart of it only to be conforted by the harsh reality that the kingdom's inhabitants were also trapped inside it. The only way out to save everyone was to destroy the sword that serves as a key to the entire dimension. However Bloom had resisted in doing so for she knew the sword's power also flows within her, hence, she made a choice in fulfilling the prophecy. With the help of Sky and Daphne's spirit, they had destroyed the dimension by finishing off all sources of evil trapped within it, hence every citizen of Domino were freed at last, and Bloom and her parents were reunited for the first time. Drinking tea iced tea before bed time is definitely a no no. Despite having that sweet tingling sensation that quenches your thirst as it passes right through your lips and straight into your stomach, it will definitely not make you go sleep up until dawn until it effect wears off. Putting it into simpler terms, it's like drinking a hot black coffee in the middle of the night to keep you awake.

But why is tea considered a stimulant? It's like this, imagine your instant coffee diluted in hot water; the coffee can provide you an extra jolt about an hour or so for it contains caffeine if you ingest it. Now imagine you drank that cup of coffee to keep you awake for the night, then that is just the equivalent of actually drinking one glass of iced tea for it also has high caffeine content.

So next time if you got lots of projects to do prior its deadline, dilute a tea bag and drink it, you might never know it can keep you awake up to six in morning just like me. :) But if your just plain thirsty in the middle of the night, don't be stupid like me, just drink water and stay away from tea.
