A view from my desktop.

I had received a tag from a friend and a fellow blogger, Emmyrose, about this post you all are about to be reading, and I thank her for giving me the opportunity to join this fun little game. Though I must admit, after reading iRonnie's post I found myself in an awkward situation since as you can see below that I'm deviating from the purpose of the game - customization of the desktop wallpaper. Well what can I say, I'm used to the default wallpaper provided by Microsoft itself, hence I provided you with the screen shot below.

I had forgotten when the first time we had used this wallpaper, but if I recalled it quite properly, the said wallpaper might span for almost a year now without any modifications. But for what reason did I maintain such wallpaper? The only thing that I can spare as an explanation was that I find it hard to make another user or profile that I'm going to customize since I find the said thing tedious, since all of us (family members) are using only one account - the administrator's account.

Anyway, as you can see there are a lot of icons there in the said desktop, and if you all permit the same reasoning, it's because most of us (family members) doesn't want the process of clicking through the selection of programs before ending to the one we normally use.

Now I'm passing the experience of the said task to the following persons:
Makoy
Rich
Julai
Leah
Darwin

=Copy Starts Here=

My Desktop Free View Instruction:

A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. You can do a screen capture by:

[1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).

[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).

[3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.

B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of Icons, things like that.

C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.

D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

technorati not updating!

I just can't believe it, first Google seems not to cache my web page entirely in their index, and now technorati also had the same problem, it doesn't update my post in their index even if I manually ping it. What's wrong with both of them? Why can't they let their tiny little spiders cache my precious web site?

I do hope someone would enlighten me on both these issues since I'm not a whiz-kid of some kind when it comes to internet related stuffs. More so, I'm really having a hard time trying to decipher things on my own without any background at all on what am I going to do.

Edit: By the way, both problems doesn't occur on my other blog hosted by blogger blogspot. Does this problem occurs only to customized domains and sub-domains? Read More......

Is Blogmad Over? Well Not!

Am I the only one seeing this today, at 2:10 in the morning +8:00 GMT time? Or has been Blogmad bankrupt that it can't even support their own domain?

So now what will happen with all of my credits left there? I hardly had any visitors for them since like five months *insert exaggeration here*. Honestly, like I had only a few hits from them. It seems now they had abandoned the site.

Edit: Just checked again the site and now it's up! I do hope next time they renew their domain early.

Gosh... now I felt ashamed of asking another member of the said site if he can access it. Read More......

new evolution of man!

The first time that I've seen this shampoo and conditioner campaign ad I can't help myself from laughing because it seems that the missing link that scientist had been uncovering to fit for the evolution of man theory by Charles Darwin had been solved relentlessly.

No offense to the actor and actress involved in this commercial, but I guess I'm going to use this product if it would be available to the nearest sari-sari store rather than the new shampoo commercial that is currently being endorsed by a lot of celebrities. Read More......

Canned Vienna Sausages to Ortigas

Canned Vienna Sausages to Ortigas... Canned Vienna Sausages to Ortigas.

Approaching Ortigas Station... Thank you for riding the Canned Vienna Sausage.

Just thinking... What if they changed the usual recording of the before bastardized sardines, ehem, I mean Metro Rail Transit (M.R.T.) to what is now appropriately Canned Vienna Sausages. Isn't it much cooler... *LOL insert here*

But why whine about the canned sausages if I don't normally ride it going to work, because I work at home with the family business? The reason was because my dear old cousin, if I mean old, old enough to take care of herself, asked me if I can accompany her going towards her orientation to work; and because she said it would not take long enough to wait the whole day, which I know isn't because orientations normally goes around from morning to dusk, I agreed asking for reassurance that it wouldn't spoil my whole day.

So here we go, wake up too early in the morning, out by six in the morning and lined for about 30 minutes just to have a decent FX ride going to MRT Quezon Avenue. The ride going to MRT was long as usual, but I felt comfortable because my feet are not strained from standing, and likewise it's air-conditioned! However, reality strikes when we stepped out of the cab and started walking towards the entrance of the station.

Gosh.... was all I can think of. Are we trying to beat the Guinness World Record of India for most people riding the train? I think you all can imagine how India became popular with that, that even the doors of the train had people clambering out just to go to either their work or home. Well, at least the MRT's can close its doors as it's conseulo de bobo!

Truth be told, you can't drop a needle or even pin in the said station when rush hour strikes because definitely you can't afford to find it in that multitude of people wishing not to be late for their work. That was the second station by the way from the North but it's already packed with a lot of people.

How can I say this? How much did the National Government loaned for this project that the taxpayers still paying up to now? Is the said canned sausages really maintained perfectly enough for the conduciveness of the people riding it? You all decide if it really is maintained or not. Read More......

heart warming story

I just like to share this story to all of you who passes by this web page. I received it by mail and it really touched my heart, and caused me teary eyed. I do hope you find some time reading the said story of an unknown author.

Half of the story is presented here in the home page, and the rest could be found in the selected post page, just click continue reading to finish the said heart warming story.

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?"

The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."

Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care anymore? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"

The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair.

"Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked.

Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said :

"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say "I Love You". I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything.

The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly.

And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed.

Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel
said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

Signed with Love from God, Jesus and Me.

birtney, britney... spoof

His body is way to better than the real Britney in the VMA. This video is performed by Greg Scarnici by the way.

Anyway with the leave Britney alone thing... that would somehow happen if she acted upon with great discretion; more so, I do hope she would somehow, a least be sober for the sake of her children. Her children are the ones suffering the most on the way she was acting erratically. I hope she realizes that in time before her children lost their respect for both their parents.

Somehow, I still believe that Ms. Spears will get over this stage in her life. She needs a good companion able to listen to what she wished to say; a companion that knows how to empathize with what she really feel.

mybloglog: a yahoo service?

Is there a race for online domination from the two giant companies, Yahoo! and Google, because it seems to be the trend? Last time that I had checked every online community that I belong to they were still independent sites not under the services of either of the two aforementioned companies. But today, as I logged-in to Mybloglog it's now powered by Yahoo! services, while Photobucket was powered by Google services.

It's not that I'm against the "complete online domination" of the two, hell no, I'm so used to it already, but every time they acquire something, the tedious process of migrating from your previous account to either Yahoo! or Google happens. Can't they just used the same old details of your previous account without deleting your pictures and the like? Just a thought... because Mybloglog deleted my photo and it really irritates me because I need to re-upload it again to that hell of an ajax thingy that always send out errors. Read More......

bathroom lady...

The lady in the our bathroom strikes again! I thought she had rested in peace and that she'll no longer appear swooshing past the house, but just today, my mother had seen her again. She walk past my mother going towards the bathroom, and mistakenly asked me if I went out of the bed going towards to the direction she had mentioned which in fact I hadn't done because I was still in bed when she asked me.

I don't know if you're going to believe it or not, but most of us (family members) have some untapped psychic abilities, not that sensationalized psychic abilities though of making objects move and the like, but I think most of us had the ability to see spirits that lurkes within the house. What my mother had seen was the same thing that I had previously been used to seeing before, a lady dressed in white, swooshing past every corridor until she stops in the bathroom. Since then, I'm so used to that spirit but I had no idea who she was nor her reason why she always ends up in the bathroom.

What's with the bathroom? I don't know, and I don't want to uncover it. I'm already okay with seeing few astray spirits, and I don't want to fully open that ability or what paranormal experts says "third eye", because I don't want to dwell into a world I had no relation to or idea with. Besides that I don't want to become a medium of bridging the two dimensions (e.g. shinigami) because my psychological profession doesn't accept such notion or belief since it's unreplicable to most in the field.

Aside from these, big moths just keep flying inside the house. I can't find any source though to validate the notion of what my mother had stressed before that moths are messengers from the dead, yet so far I believe her since this month, two big moths just flew inside the house days prior the commemoration of the death anniversaries of my uncle and grandmother. care for another round

Patrick On Music strummed his guitar as he reminisced his past experiences, and the places he remembered so well, singing the lines he had written towards the day "A Lil Sumptin Sumptin, a lil' sumptin' sumptin', give me a little something to satisfy me, cause life in Vegas is hard as rock. ooh... ooh.. a lil' sumptin' sumptin'."

However, DCR blogs' friends suggests that Patrick's writing and singing capabilities could be enhanced if he employed comedy plus drama and other genres to the songs he will write to be able to hit it big in the industry. They said that if he can shift from different genres he could reach a lot of audience that would support him.

More so, authors of Internet Marketing Minds suggested to him that he could make money online if he podcast most of his compositions with proper book markings in them. "Book marks" they said, "is the key essence of being a successful online professional"

Moreover, Blogolope main man, said to him directly "to be popular in bookmarks means that you'll gain a lot of viewers that would support you, hence you can have everything you needed, and buy a Home with Heather, in Vegas"

Patrick did as what others suggested him to, hence his name and music appears most of the time in the blogosphere if seached upon.

Notice: This is just a simple story drawn from my imagination, names and places stated upon are just fictional, nothing more. This post was made in order to satisfy the "link-loving" project I was a member to. All links provided may offer different things that might not correlate with what I've written in my story about. Feel free to check them too if you had time.

Is Yahoo! Down?

Are Yahoo! servers down today September 19, 2007 +8:00 GMT?

I just can't access Yahoo! Mail directly, as in typing the URL in the address bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer, though still, I can access the said site by logging in in their main domain Yahoo!, which is a tedious process. More so I tried using Mozilla Firefox 2 browser to check if I can access the said Yahoo! Mail, but unfortunately a redirection error message occurred stating that it happens if the browsers does not accept cookies. This is just too weird because my Mozilla Firefox Browser has a lenient status with regards to accepting cookies, while the Internet Explorer was set into medium privacy settings.

Another problem I've been experiencing with Yahoo! today, was their Yahoo! Messenger. It seems that I'm having a hard time logging in to the said application, or better yet stated I can't log-in! It just stays there in the process of signing-in for more than five minutes then it would return back to it's previous state, asking for your Yahoo! ID and password.

This really annoys me, because Yahoo! didn't even had any notification that they would had a downtime for maintenance in the Pacific Region. Read More......

Christian Bautista: Lupang Hinirang Short Version

I intend not to blog this about since he did publicly apologize already for his failure to correctly sing the Philippine National Anthem, however, since Piolo Pascual just made his commentary today it seemed as though it's a big issue.

Well, not everyone can sing correctly the national anthem with correct melody and harmony, so for me it's not a big deal at all. However, why in the world would Piolo Pascual assert to the viewing public that people are making fun of his friend? Are we making fun of him? We aren't making fun of him! Most of us had accepted the fact that he can, also by slim chance make mistakes, and that happened already while he was singing the said national anthem. Most of us had rested the issue, as a respect for his apology, so why in the world, Mr. Piolo Pascual, are you including yourself in the issue?

It's a known value, of course, that you need to help a friend in need, but I think making allegations that the viewing public is making fun of Christian Bautista is a complete ballyhoo and in fact baseless.

PS. To Piolo Pascual, please just stop singing ballad songs, it really irritates my ears. Read More......

Just as what I've been expecting, Britney Spears was dropped by her management! BBC News says that due to the pop star's erratic behavior and current circumstances they had severed their ties professionally with her.

UAAP Season 70 Cheer Dance Competition

insert *Yawn* here

What can I say? The five times defending champion, University of Santo Tomas, had lost its position to its stiff rival the University of the Philippines. Truth be told, I already had the prediction that the Salinggawi Dance Troupe will fail to bring home the championship, because as what I've seen it, they never inherited the energy and the motivation of the previous cheer dancers who competed with all their strengths. It seems to me, as though, they were over-confident that they could still make it.

It's not that I'm degrading my own home-grown university and the other universities as well, but I felt that most of the competitors had just revived the same old routines previously used for the Nestle Non-Stop Cheer Dance Competition. I think, the Nestle Non-Stop Cheer Dance Competition is a lot better!

With regards to becoming the runner-up for UP, well I have no comment on that. But I do agree with the majority of the protesters.

Edit: Gosh, after fishing the video from youtube I had read a lot of comments or practically invectives from supporters from different universities, and I must admit that most of them are really degrading. It's not that I don't empathize with them for the outcome of the said competition, however, I think, it would be baseless to say that someone or somebody had cheated just to win. What are the use of more than 6 jurors for? Read More......

Be Bench: The Model Search winners

Carlo Guevarra and Regine Angeles were chosen to be the next endorsers of Bench, a fashion boutique whose aim is to give comfort, style and fashion at a low cost in its 20th year. Despite their almost failing performance in the previous tasks they had had, they somehow managed to captivate Bench and ABS-CBN management, and the rest of the people who had voted them, hence they ended up being hailed as the next Bench Endorsers. The finals of the model search was staged in Araneta Coliseum and hosted by Ms. Kris Aquino, Piolo Pascual, and Sam Milby, also endorsers of Bench, last September 11.

Though, I'm a little bit disappointed that Ron Morales, and Michelle hadn't won the said competition, at least John Uy didn't had the chance to snatch the place from Carlo. Hahaha, my prayers are still answered. Read More......

Christina Aguilera: Pregnant?!

(Photo fished from Dlisted.)

On the lighter side, Britney's so-called rival, Christina Aguilera is said to be pregnant. Though she did not confirmed yet, I still wish her luck for her coming delivery and of course her new baby.

But who spilled the beans anyway? No other than the hotel-heiress herself, the bitchy, whore-like, Paris Hilton. This is what she said in LAX at Las Vegas according to Dlisted:
"I want everyone to say congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world, Christina Aguilera. You're gorgeous!"

Here's the video courtesy of TMZ. Read More......

John Uy: I hope you lose!

I'm an avid fan of Be Bench: The Model Search and now the time has come for the one who, will walk as being famous to become a certified Bench endorser, as opposed to the rest who will go away and walk with shame to become anonymous.

There are only six competing individuals hoping to become one of the Bench product endorsers,3 guys and 3 gals. And, I must admit I do have my own personal favorites and also I do have what you call the-one-that-I-will-never -support-ever which of course, is now gracing my page, John Uy (Picture on the left).

But why in heaven's hand am I not going to vote this guy? Because he is SO DAMN F*C#ING COCKY AND ARROGANT that's why! He perceives himself as someone who is so well superior than the rest of them combined. He acts like a PRIMA DONNA even though he's NOT EVEN A CELEBRITY! He thinks that his constant defamatory remarks and negative criticisms doesn't hurt others' feelings, when it fact it does. More so, he sees himself as someone who is PERFECT; a pseudo-god as what he portrays in television. He is just to annoying to be viewed. Imagine that he associates himself with Sam Milby! The nerve!

Anyway help me vetoed this guy (John Uy) in the grand finals, by supporting Ron Morales (Photo on the Right Side). Well, he got the looks and charms, and he perfectly fit to become the next product endorser of Bench. As simple as that. Read More......

WMP11 album art all black out?

Can somebody help me out on this, any IT or microsoft related personnels to assist me.

Last year I updated my Windows Media Player 9 to Windows Media Player 11 with high hopes that it was a better version with new improved features, and my guess wasn't wrong. I had used it up to last month without any problems at all. However, just suddenly when I play a single .mp3 or a .wma file that wasn't stored yet in the library, it's album art would appear to be a little black square similar to the one below.

I don't know what went wrong, but I searched and read a lot of threads already and the same problem occurred with them which dated back last December 2006, and up to now they were being annoyed by the same little black album arts. The only difference, that I had with them was that they were running on Windows Vista Operating System, while the computer I'm using had Windows Xp SP2 as an operating system. More so, they also updated their browsers to Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), while I'm still using the old version IE 6.0.2900.

To add it all up, not only audio files were being affected by this nonsensical black little arts, also the video file that I had. Does any one know how am I going to fix this unknown problem? Read More......

monday rant

Today I went to a local bank, and as usual it's Monday hence the tedious and long waiting time is up again. As usual it's always the same and it will never change, that's already a bad habit. But what really annoys me was the fact that despite being early going to the bank, prior opening to be exact, you'll end up having to be the thirtieth or worst the fiftieth to be served, because the in-house security guards hordes the numbers for their sukis (Philippine slang for constant acquaintances).

It's really such a shame, because most security would tell you to be in order, or follow the rules, when they don't even live what they preach. This is really a social sickness that will never be cured even if somebody tried.

Anyway, yesterday, was a no-post day, as a respect for the death anniversary of my uncle, and within the following weeks to I will also have another no-post day in respect for my grandmother's death. September is really the gloomiest month in my family. So I'm sign-off now. Read More......

paris hilton suing hallmark

A not so Paris Hilton day today... hahaha. I just can't help it. It seems that seeing, hearing, or even reading the name that describes the hotel heiress is an annoying addiction that causes your brain to contort vehemently. Can you imagine that she's now very sensationalized! Even Hallmark cards wants and even made her face and quotable quotes printed in their not so-comical greeting cards. I just can't bear it anymore! Now what? She's suing Hallmark for using her not-so-popular name and face for almost $500,000, such a shame because I think it's not even a best seller card!

Please put the blond back to where she ought to belong - in her hotels. I just don't want to see her face because it really pisses me off. Or better yet send her to acting schools to tame her a little bit, and be a little bit professional.

Edit: Found the evidence of what she's suing for and hopefully it last long on the internet. Click Here to view it

I just so love fishing out gossips from different sites. Hahaha. I just can't help myself eh, because that was the thing taught about by media, to spread the word.

Hence, my next stop over, Philippine Entertainment Portal. So guess what I've read? Camille Prats, the famous little girl who acted as Princess Sarah, the Philippine movie adaptation of the book A Little Princess was pregnant. Yep, four-months pregnant and why just now that she decided to admit she was preggie with her non-showbiz boyfriend? As usual, she need to protect her wholesome career. Truth be told, why deny it in the first place and make a cover-up that she went to the US to continue her studies instead of saying I needed a break until my baby comes out?

I didn't mean to condemn her for being pregnant prior marriage, but I wished she was more honest to the viewing public because the public understands. Anyway, apart from waiting for her little angel to come to Earth in the US, likewise she will also continue her studies, taking up Marketing so as not to fully depend on her partner, which is a good idea. emma watson refuses to play hermione

NewsoftheWorld.co.uk says that Emma has refused to sign another contract, which would have her playing Hermione through the final two films in the series. This isn’t just a negotiating ploy. Emma has told producers that even doubling her pay won’t get her to sign on the dotted line.

I've been late in uncovering this news and I don't know if I'm going to believe it or not, because this news about Emma Watson's refusal to play as Hermione in last two Harry Potter series hadn't reach the local papers and local television networks. It's such a disappointment for me though, because I had came to grow up with and accustomed in seeing her in the said movies.

Her speculated reason about not signing in for the last two movies, despite being offered 2 million pounds, was that she had grown tired of being type-casted as Hermione, the known-it-all friend of Harry in the novels made by J.K. Rowling, and that she wanted to pursue and play different roles that would satisfy her.

It is true, indeed that everyone needed a break from the usual role they play and find another facet that would make each and everyone flourish, but why can't she just continue portraying Hermione up to the end, yet at the same time playing different characters that she wished to, just like what Daniel Radcliffe had done when he accepted Equus.

I just hope she snaps out of her contorted thinking and play again Hermione because she fits the role perfectly. Read More......

My dog doesn't want to eat. I just don't know what to do.

My mother doesn't want to send her (the dog) to the nearest vet. for fear of ending up the same as her brother, who died after few hours because of the three medications injected all at once.

I really wish she does got better in no time. Read More......

high school musical scandal?!

I just don't know how stars are made in Hollywood, but so far they all got some trend on how they either revive a dying career or step out of their usual career to venture on another field of acting. The usual trend that I see is either expose yourself, I mean expose yourself totally without clothes on, drink-and-drive without a valid license, or be addicted to some kind of non-prescribed drugs. All of which are against the norms, or what is so-called deviant behavior.

So what about it and what about High School Musical cast Vanessa? Well, I guess some of you might know what this is all about. However, if you don't I'll just guide you through what this post might contain. Within the past weeks, I'd been reading rumors and gossips about some so-called nude photos of Vanessa Hudgens, star of the well-acclaimed High School Musical, that was supposedly been private and taken just for Zac Efron's delight. But how in the world does it ended up in National Enquirer's hands? That's another question that needed answers. Of course, I would not post the photos for legality's sake, but just go through Perez Hilton's site, or Dlisted just in case you wished to view the said photos.

For now this is another scandal that will definitely flabbergast the Disney Management, after Zac Efron admitted that he didn't sang in High School Musical 1. Read More......

evan almighty

Just watched Evan Almighty last weekend and much to my dismay it really didn't satisfy me. I just don't understand why the producers labeled it comedy when in fact it wasn't comical at all. I just don't see the logic of bringing back an old story from the Bible about an ark, with which, upto now is still contestable by either the religious sects and the scientific community. However, I do grasp the meaning of the said movie, which is to save an entire living population from the onslaught of the upcoming destruction of a certain damn in the community, and to display or live on an act of random kindness.

But the question in my mind still lingers on, why choose a congressman to make an ark, the physical ark, i mean and not the act of random kindness? It's just so weird for me.

Anyway, maybe later I'm going to try to make a decent review about this movie, devoid of my rants. Read More......

Knights of Columbus: HOME WRECKERS!

Yes, read it right - HOME WRECKERS!

Much to my dismay but that is true. Instead of the spiritual formation that should be promulgated within and outside of the said group, lies, hearsay and addiction are the ones being evangelized!

What do you expect if that became the core of your familial affairs? Definitely instead of a strong communal bond within your family and the community you belong, disintegration occurs. It's like your family is a fragile thing easily breakable or better yet a hollowed wood too brittle to last to long enough to hold foundation.

I just don't know why our family ended up in this state. Who ever recruited my father to that rotten group; curse him for ruining our placid and harmonious lives! I shall never forget all this things, never in my entire living life!

I shall never forget how each and every ROTTEN member of the said organization who had influenced my father so badly, to ever tell lies to us their own family. I shall never forget how they influenced him to act against his will without thinking that his own family is at stake. I shall never forget how they all became HYPOCRITES who wears facades in order to hide their ROTTEN, and FILTHY state. I shall never forget how they learned to teach my father to blame us their family, instead of blaming those who had influenced him wrongly!

I shall never forget ALL THESE... NEVER!!! Read More......

Angst: Definition

How do you define the word angst?

For, me I define it as feelings of dreaded anxiety, or having a little bit of anxiety, which I personally would quote from Oxford Dictionary. More so, I also googled the word to be able to make sure that my definition was indeed correct.

Here are some of the web's definition on the word angst:

Angst, often confused with anxiety, is a transcendent emotion in that it combines the unbearable anguish of life with the hopes of overcoming this seemingly impossible situation. Without the important element of hope, then the emotion is anxiety, not angst. Angst denotes the constant struggle one has with the burdens of life that weighs on the dispossessed and not knowing when the salvation will appear.
Urbandictionary.com

A German word which means "anxiety" or "anguish." Technically, this is a term used in Existentialism which expresses the dread reality that the future is an unknown chasm; therefore, the choices that a person ( the existent ) makes are the determining factor in the outcome of one's future - thus, the cause for "angst."
www.apologetics.org/glossary.html

But why the hell am I blogging the etymology of the word? Because, I heard a lot of people using the word in a wrong sentence which really annoys me. And when I try to correct them, all I can hear were "Really?" or "Where have you gotten that meaning?"

I don't mean to offend people, but I think it's just right to say that they've been using the wrong word as a synonym for being cocky, or self-confident.

Here's the example that I've heard, from a model search.
"... the angst was there, isn't it." (I do hope I remember that correctly!)

The host was pertaining to self-confidence of the contestant and not being worried or fearful at all.

I'm going to search for the video on youtube as evidence... lolz Read More......

Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge

Okay, as promised that I'm going to make a follow-up on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, well here it is.

Did Imelda Staunton played justice to role as Dolores Umbridge?

For me, though she had that high pitch, very annoying and eerie voice, she didn't played justice to the role she was ought to portray, for a simple reason, she hadn't characterized or bring forth the Dolores Umbridge that I was looking for, or loathing for in the book Order of the Phoenix.

I just can't blame her if she hadn't reached the antagonistic role, I and most book-readers alike are after and are expecting, because she was just given a script, so-to-say not good enough for the actualization of the character Umbridge.

Imagine, that when I was just beginning to read the Order of the Phoenix, and found out Umbridge's exploits, I can't help myself to be frustrated and wished I was a part of the story so as to be able to punish the character so dearly by giving her a slow death she richly deserved. But when my imagination came to reality in screen play, I was so disappointed because Imelda Staunton didn't portrayed the Umbridge that I was loathing for. Imelda was like a good-old character that just abides with regulations imposed. She wouldn't even appear annoying to me in the movie, if not for her slow, high pitched voice.

I just wish that within the next movies to follow, they adapt a good script that is somehow closely related to the books that we all had loved and read. What I mean is that, they should follow the story line properly. Not that I wanted them to actuate the whole book, but they somehow manage to concise the books in a nice way, enough for us viewers to actually feel the emotions we have felt when we were reading the book. Britney's New Single: Gimme More

Again, I'm back to US Magazine to fish some gossips on the latest news about Hollywood stars, and now my eyes were glued to none-other-than the (in)famous singer, dancer, song-writer, (flop) actress, (weird) mother, Britney Spears. Oh need I say more about her. Anyway, according to US Magazine, the new single of Britney, Gimme More that is currently, and should be protected by copyright laws by the US, had been leaked out through the internet, and in here (PerezHilton.com) you could listen to it for free, however, you could not download it.

Now do you think it will survive her falling career? Well, will see about that in the next coming days.

However, I'll just leave a quoted text coming from US Magazine about what to expect in the song and the up-coming album.

A friend of Spears’ tells Usmagazine.com that “Gimme More” is a set-up single designed to set the tone for her album, and fans can expect to see a video for the song early next week. The source adds, “The song is dope. It is amazing, a fast dance song and people will love it. But don't judge the whole album by the song...it is just a first glimpse but the whole album and the stuff on it surpasses it. This album is amazing and has something for everyone. It will blow people away and people won't question that she is back."

On the familial state of her life, well I'm going to expect that she will lose her sons in her custody battle with her ex-husband, for a lot of reasons, and of course I don't need to elaborate it on. Read More......
