Tea Before Bed

tea,Drinking tea iced tea before bed time is definitely a no no. Despite having that sweet tingling sensation that quenches your thirst as it passes right through your lips and straight into your stomach, it will definitely not make you go sleep up until dawn until it effect wears off. Putting it into simpler terms, it's like drinking a hot black coffee in the middle of the night to keep you awake.

But why is tea considered a stimulant? It's like this, imagine your instant coffee diluted in hot water; the coffee can provide you an extra jolt about an hour or so for it contains caffeine if you ingest it. Now imagine you drank that cup of coffee to keep you awake for the night, then that is just the equivalent of actually drinking one glass of iced tea for it also has high caffeine content.

So next time if you got lots of projects to do prior its deadline, dilute a tea bag and drink it, you might never know it can keep you awake up to six in morning just like me. :) But if your just plain thirsty in the middle of the night, don't be stupid like me, just drink water and stay away from tea. Okay? :(

Please Read... Thanks.

Hi all please take some time to read this post,

Does anyone here know any cancer foundation that can help people financially, particularly here in the Philippines? If ever you can provide some informations like contact numbers and people to search for, please don't hesitate to post it at the comment section, my friend badly needed it. He, also needed all the help and prayer he could muster so as not to give up fighting for his illness.

My friend, Michael Agbulos (the guy wearing jacket), is currently suffering from cancer of the soft tissue. He was admitted at the hospital previously and up to now he is still fighting off the disease that had stuck him. As the days progressed, he is becoming weaker and weaker and their family is becoming financially in debt with the hospital that he is currently confined with.

I and the rest of his friends all know that it's hard for their family. Hence, we his former classmates, are trying our best to at least provide some assistance to them with all the means that we could possibly think of. But we are not all financially capable to at least shoulder some of the expenses, hence we seek out any help that everyone could possible provide.

So if you know any information... please... please... I beg all of you to help us out find some institutions that can help him and his family in this time of their need.

Thanks.

Ms. Earth 2008 Winners

Last night, I watched the delayed telecast of the coronation of the Ms. Earth 2008 Beauty Pageant, with little hope that our country's representative, Ms. Philippines Karla Paula Henry, to bring home the coveted crown. Yet with some stoke of luck, she had managed to advance up to the Top 4 of the competition, with Ms. Mexico, Ms. Brazil, and Ms. Tanzania in the final question and answer round.

Of course, I can't imagine how did that happen since as as far as I recall, all Philippine Representatives in the said pageant always goes home with only the sash they held! Besides, isn't it that Bb. Pilipinas judges favored Janina San Miguel to-be-then Bb. Pilipinas World 2008 representative, than most of the beautiful, talented and intelligent competitors in the said pageant including her; with which gave her the decision to jump over to try her luck in the Ms. Philippines Earth Beauty Pageant? Anyway, enough of the former issue with the beauty queen who stepped down as a representative, and I'm going to focus on what had happened in the Ms. Earth 2008.

The coronation of Ms. Earth 2008, was held at Clark Expo Ampi theater Pampanga, Philippines yesterday with a lot of foreign judges ranging from different respected fields to oversee the competition to promote fairness and equality in choosing the successor of the reigning Ms. Earth, Jessica Trisko from Canada. Since, pre-judging had already taken place the top 16 were easily chosen and from there the top 4 would be selected who would represent the four prestigious titles enveloped in the competition: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. To determine who will be the next Ms. Earth, a final, uniform and single question must be answered by the remaining 4 contestants to be judged accordingly be the respected board. The final question given to the remaining four contestants was something like this: If you were given the opportunity to speak to the newly elected president of the United States, Barack Obama, what would you tell to regarding the present environmental condition plaguing the world?

From there, poise, intelligence and grace will be the determining factor in choosing the next Ms. Earth. And, I'm too glad to say that Ms. Philippines representative had managed to stay alert and poised to answer such trivial question leading her to her ultimate goal, the Ms. Earth crown.

The titles of the final four were as follows:
  1. Ms. Earth Fire - Ms. Brazil

  2. Ms. Earth Water - Ms. Mexico

  3. Ms. Earth Air - Ms. Tanzania

  4. Ms. Earth - Ms. Philippines

The Rescue: An Insight

nicholas sparks, nicholas sparks the rescue, nicholas sparks ebook, nicholas sparks the rescue .pdf, the rescue .pdf, the rescue.lit, the rescue.pdb
Nicholas Sparks has yet again touched my mushy heart with this book. Though this book isn't comparable with his other creations (i.e. Message in a Bottle and A Walk to Remember), nonetheless it's still a good book to read.

The Rescue, as its title and theme overtly expresses, talks basically about a rescue, not just in its physical meaning but also in its deeper emotional meaning. The story's plot branches into two different rescue missions, first saving a lost child after a tragic road accident, and second, salvaging an emotionally troubled man into finding the right way to forgive himself into an irreparable mistake he had committed years ago that haunts him up to the present.

The story is really simple, yet it's emotional loaded, thus it left readers (like me) in awe. Moreover, what happened in the story might even represent a manifestation of what probably can occur on everyday life situations. Hence, you wouldn't know if the story is related to your life until you find time to grab the book and read it.

Nonetheless, all I can say is that Nicholas Sparks has yet again captured the true essence of the words unconditional love, forgiveness and salvation, and had made a beautiful novel with which I'm giving out my insights. If you find yourself a time and wanted to spend it by reading a quality book, I suggest you read this book, and I'm sure your going to like it.

For easy access to the book, you can download it here, or you can buy a paper back edition here which is discounted of course.

Deception Point: A Review

Deception Point, ebook download, dan brown,Deception Point

When a NASA satellite discovers an astonishingly rare object buried deep in the Arctic ice, the floundering space agency proclaims a much-needed victory -- a victory with profound implications for NASA policy and the impending presidential election. To verify the authenticity of the find, the White House calls upon the skills of intelligence analyst Rachel Sexton. Accompanied by a team of experts, including the charismatic scholar Michael Tolland, Rachel travels to the Arctic and uncovers the unthinkable: evidence of scientific trickery -- a bold deception that threatens to plunge the world into controversy.

N.A.S.A., at its failure to produce outcomes and results on the millions of funds allocated by the United States government, is at risks on being privatized, with which, the only option out is for it to give concrete results on the existence of extraterrestial beings. Since, there's no given proof that those being exists, presidential candidate, Sen. Sedgewick Sexton escalated the issue claiming that re-electionist president Zachary Herney is a devout N.A.S.A. supporter and that the president himself allocated more government funds to the space organization rather than using the funds to improve the internal affairs of the country. Hence it marked the start of two political figures vying for the top position on the land, doing whatever it takes for them to secure hold of the oval office even up to the extent on deceiving people and receiving unlawful campaign funds.

Deception Point is a story about an organized crime headed by the NRO head, upon which his sole objective is to save the space organization N.A.S.A., despite his own personal grudge to it. But little does he know that his own plan to deceive the president and the whole world would be thwarted by his own employee, the estranged daughter of the senator, and the rest of the experts hired to evaluate the said discovery made by N.A.S.A.

This is one good story that you shouldn't miss reading for it would give you profound insights on the ins and outs of dirty politics. Moreover, the story, though a work of fiction, in a way presents how government organizations works, up to the extent of committing a crime without the knowledge of their superiors.

Insights: Message in a Bottle

message in a bottle, nicholas sparks, nicholas sparks message in a bottle, download ebook, free ebook, nicholas sparks ebooks, nicholas sparks .pdfA simple heart-felt message enclosed in a washed bottle can lead a curious mind into its origins that could change two lives all at the same time.

Theresa Osborne, had been searching all her life for the meaning of unconditional love she hadn't experienced with her previous husband who had cheated on her. Despite being married for quite some time, she hadn't realized that her trust to her husband would soon shatter into pieces leaving her in a deadlock situation she knew she couldn't face at once; upon which it would give her the presumption that there isn't a male specie that is not polygamous in nature. But not until a washed bottle crossed her path that would change everything she thought she knew.

The Message in a Bottle is a testament that even a man could deeply fall in love just like a woman does, and that even a man can deeply be hurt by a lost loved one. This is really worth a read if you hadn't read it, and I'm sure it would touch your heart just as it does to me.

By the way, you can grab your paper back or hard copy here, or you can download a digital copy here.

Advance Halloween to all...

Since Halloween Season is nearing again and that scary stories, videos and images are yet again surfacing over to heighten fear on the hearts of everyone. Let me share some of the pictures that I find myself scary. Of course these are the photos that I had taken with my camera, and unfortunately they appeared in a way that I had never expected.

Above are the photos of the two cute dogs that our family have, however, since I had made a mistake in capturing photos of them, especially with the yellow glowing eyes of the puppy it ended up scary to look at. What do you think?

Anyway, advance Happy Halloween to all... and may this global financial crisis end sooner than expected.

Mario Tennis Power Tour: Review

mario tennis power tourMario Tennis Power Tour, if I'm not mistaken, is already a classic game for gameboy advance users. However, since this is the first time that I get my hands on the said game, I think and hope that you can bear with me as I write my insights about this game.

As its title suggests, Mario Tennis Power Tour, is a game particularly about two aspirant novices that hopes to someday be able to play with the legendary Mario Bros. in a tennis competition. However, the catch of the game is this: since legendary players from the fictional Mario World doesn't compete entirely to novices their dream can't turn into reality unless they've became the top player and proven themselves worthy onto meeting the Mario Bros. From this objective the adventure of Clay (or any name you choose) and his partner, Ace, starts. Likewise, your game starts as well, as you direct the main character into fulfilling his desire to play a match with the Mario Bros.

The story line of the game is too simple, become the single and doubles tennis champion on the inter-school competition and Mario will be the one to fetch you on your school to compete with you on Mario World. Sounds easy right? Wait till you hear what's more there in stored for you! Read More......

Britney Spears' Womanizer Video

Well, come to think of it, the Britney Spears that I had come to admire, like and love, seemed to have snapped off from her trance from her previous marriage failure and decided it's time for her to move forward. A good job, more so, a good video for her come back. I loved it! I can't wait for the official release of her latest album.

By the way, the above video is the director's cut (available over you tube), which shows scantily dressed Britney with a Calvin Klein model named Brandon Stoughton, who likewise is almost naked as her.

What a way to shut critics mouth about Britney losing her curves that had attracted millions of male fans around the world?

Galoc Oil Field, Philippines... Crude Oil Reservoir

galoc oil field, philippine oil reservoir, palawan oil, galoc crude oilWas it a good news or another bad news?

If an ordinary Filipino citizen will be told that the Philippines has now discovered crude oil within its territorial boundaries, then it would really appear to be good news amid the current world crisis. And yes, I must admit, I was happy enough to have watched the news yesterday, that indeed the commissioned explorer (a.k.a. exploiter) had discovered an oil reservoir in the island of Palawan. However, I was dismayed, when I realized that the Philippine Government had almost ceded its authority and control over the said oil field to different corporations that had explored it. Read equity division here.

As I quite remember broadly, the Philippine Government headed by our illustrious and in(famous) president, had made different contracts to different corporations around the world that permits exploitation of the said place to find oil. Now that these (Vitol Group and Otto Energy Ltd, Nido Petroleum Pty Ltd., Oriental Petroleum and Minerals Corp., Philodrill Corp., Forum Energy Philippines Corp., Alcorn Gold Resources Corp. and PetroEnergy Resources Corp.) companies had discovered what they had wanted, now what? Will it lower down oil prices in this country?

The answer to that according to ABS-CBN is simple it wouldn't lessen the current prices of the oil despite the oil field found in Galoc, since the oil prices will be based on the current price on the world market. The government can earn, yes, from royalties that will come from selling this oil, but the government will have no control whatsoever on its selling.

Now, imagine the scenario, your country own the raw product, but it will be sold to you by other countries at relatively high price. What an irony right?

WGA KB905474: Again?!

This is going to be a little haphazard note that I'm going to publish, for I don't know up to when will my internet connection be available, since it's too sluggish after the power interruption.

Anyway, prior to the power outage, I was browsing through the windows automatic update queue (the yellow shield located at the task bar), and yet again I've seen another WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) file (KB 905474) that needs to be downloaded. How many times will Microsoft require its users to download another genuine tool when your operating system had been validated several times already and was found to be genuine indeed? What's the purpose of snooping over our computers like google does with its cookies?

By the way, since, it's like the nth time that I had seen it over and again, I decided not to anymore download it and let it stay on that damn queue with the rest of the KB.... that needs to as well to downloaded. Besides, I can't bear to download more than a gig file from Microsoft since my hard drive can no longer take reach that much file (low disk space). More so, my Internet Service Provider (PLDT mydsl) is damn too sluggish again, like I'm back to the primitive world of using a dial-up internet connection. :(

Kontera Blog It Blogger Ads Widget: Cause of Operation Aborted in IE!

I've told you sooner or later I will find out what the cause of this "Operation Aborted" error in Internet Explorer, and I have! It's the Kontera Blog It! Blogger Widget. Now I've temporarily removed the codes associated to it, and this site now loads almost as smoothly as before in Internet Explorer. Hopefully, it's fixed.

I know, I know, I should have changed browsers, and I've already done that several years ago. I had actually disregarded using Internet Explorer and switched with Firefox browser (see notice at the left). However, since a lot of people still uses that crap-of-browser called Microsoft Internet Explorer, I couldn't disregard possible visitors to this site, hence I tried my best to find the faulty script that caused this pop-up message to appear.

Now I'm going to check out Kontera Ads and will ask them if ever their blogger widget code can be fixed without causing too much troble to blogger users.

Next problem for me to look into: Blogger Layout Page Element loading problem.

Operation Aborted Error on IE; Any solution?

Damn it! Arghhh.... I thought I had already solved every single problem that arose in editing this piece of a template, but after loading this site to Microsoft Internet Explorer, I got a pop-up stating that "Operation Aborted", then afterwards it doesn't load anymore claiming that the site is either down or that the page doesn't load properly. I need to refresh the page several times before being able to see the entire contents of this site. I hate Internet Explorer!

Anyway, how in the world this "Operation Aborted" happened? The answers to that according to the sites that I had surfed were vague enough for a computer programming illiterate to understand. Either they say:
  1. You can't append to the BODY Element from a script that isn't a direct child to the BODY Element.

  2. What duh? I really didn't understand this phrase properly, and most bloggers don't as well.
  3. Either you can work around in solving the operation aborted by adding the defer tag on the faulty script itself.

  4. Yeah, right! I really don't even know what script had caused it. More so, when I tried to place the defer tag on all of the javascripts that I have, only those scripts deferred loads disregarding the entire site at all. Who would like to view your javascript sidebar anyway in Internet Explorer?
  5. Either you place a certain .on-window-load-something on the script which will likely to have any effect at all.

  6. Either you reinstall Internet Explorer or Upgrade your Internet Explorer

  7. Yeah, like I can convince the entire universe to upgrade their internet explorers! Forget it! No one will ever dare upgrade or reinstall their browsers at the expense of a single site!
  8. Either you change browsers. Use Firefox, Opera, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

  9. Like all people will change to those browsers?!
  10. Either you remove the code inside the table element; and lastly,

  11. You put all your javascript codes below or after the BODY Element.

  12. Hello programming literates to the world! Like you can pull down all of blogger widgets after the BODY element. Gosh, this is so fu*king insane.

Anyway are there any viable and easily understandable solutions to fix this Bill Gates' Problem? But if none then most likely, I'm going to find out what had happened on this site then remove that faulty code sooner or later.

Template Changes

Blogger template customization had been keeping me busy over the past days, and I must admit, it seemed rather difficult for a beginner, like me, to edit XML. Like most blogger users, I myself, wanted my blog or site to look stylish and functional. But since, I'm a blogger hosted blog, I can only do little to make it look good as compared to those who have self-hosted wordpress blogs.

I must admit, I had the initial inkling that I wanted to leave blogger and to become a wordpress user; given the fact that if I find a stable, reliable, good and free web host that doesn't have forced advertisement on it, I'll migrate my blog over to it. But since, I haven't found any of this initial criterion yet, I'm sticking with the free hosted blogger site, and endure the pain of editing the XML manually.

Since, XML is a pain in the a**, and that minor changes can lead to template "not being parsed correctly"; I had difficult time editing the core template to incorporate the changes that I found necessary for my site to become functional, yet still stylish. In order for me to manage editing my site, I created a dummy site to edit the template there itself, so as not to ruin the current template that I had been used to.

The first change that I did, on this template was to embed the comment form of blogger into every post pages. Yes, blogger has now have that feature of placing the comment form just directly below each of the post that a certain site contain. Read More......

New Grand Star Dreamer: Laarni

laarni, PDA, pinoy dream academy season 2 grand star dreamer, pinoy dream academy, grand star dreamerI and my mother had ended our "friendly bickering" as soon as the winners of the Philippine Edition of the Dream Academy were announced. And guess what? I had won over her, and that my vote for Laarni wasn't wasted, unlike her who had almost smothered and threatened us, her children, into voting her bet, Bugoy, so as to support her fellow Bicolandia resident into winning the coveted title of the Grand Star Dreamer.

Imagine your mom tearing your scalp and forcing you to type the syntax code for Bugoy to support him. That was what I had been through yesterday before the the voting officially closed at around noon; with which, I never did as she told, since I felt that somebody else will win that said title instead of her bet, which definitely came true.

Yes, both my parents are so fond of Bugoy, since he originated from the region they both had came from, and that he had a unique vocal quality, but of course I think otherwise. I know, Bugoy, had a God given talent that can reach him into different places, but I still had my vote for Laarni who as well, as him, had been blessed so much with vocal quality and prowess, despite her mood swings and her untamed emotions.

I just hope that the career of this season's winners would flourish to a certain extent and not end up as just one hit wonder, which had happened to a certain winner after which he isn't visible on any television program nor his songs aren't being played in radio stations. :(

Commission Junction Settlement Issue

OMG! This is a stunner for me today. I was really shocked to receive this post card message from a certain settlement agency from Oregon, for reasons I really don't understand (that is until I finished reading the terms in the settlement website). But from what it contains, I am certainly sure that I am not the one being sued but instead Commission Junction.

So what did really Commission Junction do to end up being sued by people? Well, this would be a very poor guess from me, but I think they had committed "something" leaving its publishers penniless and advertisers bankrupt without even getting any return from what they had advertised on the said affiliate network or that there was a certain problem blown out of proportion by someone or some group hence this post card to arrive in mail indicating that there will be a trial against CJ.

As an international publishers from CJ, I had had tireless hours of promoting their advertisers, ensuing that every month I deliver them quality traffic and click-through but I get nothing in return. I never did thought that I might be being duped by the system since a lot of publishers end up just the same as me, hence I shrugged it off. But now this post card came over by mail and I don't really know what is going on or what am I going to do with it. As I read through this thread, most publishers don't opt to be excluded in the settlement but instead suggests that other publishers leave it as is and never take action, which makes me more confused than ever. But one thing is for sure that this issue will not be resolved until the CJ network takes drastic actions on improving their system.

Now, I think I'm back to reading the long terms of the settlement, and I need to consult some lawyers on what am I going to do, that is, if I will be able to contact a lawyer, but for now, I will not do anything that would waive any of my rights.

UAAP Cheerdance Competition

The annual UAAP cheering competition had finally been concluded and again University of the Philippines ended up as the champion for this year's cheer dance competition, bringing home 195,000 Philippine Pesos cash prize and an mp3 player each. As expected, they again reclaimed the top spot after they had snatched it last year from the University of Santo Tomas.

I would be lying here if I say I didn't wished and hoped that my alma mater, University of Santo Tomas, to win. However, as I had viewed their performance in this year's competition, I was quite dismayed with it. As most people claim over on you tube, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe now lack the ability to create and formulate new routines that would put them back on track to their once 4 times champion glory. If you would re-watch the videos of the Salinggawi Dance Troupe including this year's competition, you would agree with me that most of the routines including the liftings and acrobatics within their cheer dance were recycled from their previous routines. Bea Alonzo and Models Slipped on Fashion Show Runway

I hadn't seen this one on the news yesterday, hence I started scouring it over Youtube, and lucky for me to see it. But honestly, I really don't know whether I would laugh or not regarding this kind of issue because everyone had their own fair share of slipping moment. More so, what had happened doesn't even appear to be humiliating since like most of the models slipped as well.

The main question is: Who ever made that runway anyway, since it appeared to be so slippery?

PTCs (Paid to Click) and Its Influence on Online Money Making.

Paid to Click or preferably PTC is at its boom today on the internet. As its function and name states, it's a paid by clicking scheme, where in a member or a user earns a fixed daily amount upon clicking a link to a certain site being advertised. It's actually synonymous to Google's Adsense Advertising program wherein a certain publisher earn a specific amount if the ads that their site caters had been viewed. However in the PTC, the member doesn't need a site, a high paying keyword, nor a huge amount of time to publish content to their site, all the need are the EFFORT, the PERSEVERANCE, and the DETERMINATION to earn.

Of course they will need time to actually maximize their earning potential in PTC. But who wouldn't mind waiting for about 20-30 seconds just to earn money over the internet? By clicking daily the links being promoted you can make about enough additional income to support yourself.

I know what you're thinking, your dubious as it might be a scam that would extort money from you. Honestly, I had this same view with it before, but I wouldn't know otherwise if I hadn't tried right?

I tried some PTCs available over the internet, and all I can say is that they're not scam. They are legitimate businesses extending arms to those who wish to earn money online. More so they are free to join! You wouldn't need to waste a single penny just for you to become a member. Moreover you wouldn't need to sell something just for you to earn a commission, all you need is to click the links daily.

If I still hadn't convince you then, just check their sites. Below are the list of PTCs that I trust:

  1. Neobux's Website - has 4 global links to click everyday for standard member!

  2. Earn.nu's Website - has 8-10 global links to click everyday for standard member!

  3. Extra10's Website - has 10 global links to click everyday for standard member

  4. Earn3's Website - has 10 global links to click everyday for standard member

You can click and read each one of their terms and conditions and see for yourself what you might had been missing.

P.S. I Love You by Cecilia Ahern: An Insight

PS I Love You

PS I Love You: Synopsis

A young married couple, Holly and Gerry, have a joke between them: If anything ever happened to him, he'd have to write her a list or else she'd never be able to cope without him. "The List" grew to encompass advice for any eventuality, a joke all their friends shared. When Gerry's severe headache is diagnosed as brain cancer and Holly tragically loses him in a few short months, she is devastated and unmoored. She hasn't just lost her husband, she's lost her very identity. And then it arrives: a package marked "The List." Gerry has kept his promise, and inside this package are ten envelopes to be opened over a period of ten months. Each letter offers specific instructions to guide Holly through grief, and ultimately grant her permission to return to life. Of course each letter ends with PS, I Love You. The novel includes a cast of raucously funny and memorable characters, including Holly's best friends and four siblings who range in personality from the pink-haired world traveler Ciara to stick-in-the-mud Richard. Set in Ireland, the book has a wonderful Irish atmosphere reminiscent of Maeve Binchy and Marian Keyes. PS, I LOVE YOU is a warm, witty, heartfelt and romantic story about the blessings of friendship, family and the eternal nature of true love.

Little do I know about the author, Cecilia Ahern, hence, I don't know what to expect with her work. I know this book also had a movie which I'm just going to watch on DVD if there is already. So now you know I'm really clueless of her work and that my insight would be based purely on my objective and subjective view point of the book that I had read. But regardless of that I'm still going to give you an honest to goodness insight on what to expect on this chic lit.

First at hand, the plot. The plot may appear to be common if you're just going to skim it, but after I had read it from cover to cover, all I can say is that it's the first time I had encountered such a story. Sure thing a lot of books tackle about romance and death, but little does a lot of authors took notice that there is still a spice left to bring about a good story and that is grieving.

The main plot of this story is of course grief and the ability to move forward after a demise of a very important person. How many authors have you seen delve into this subject matter?

Second, the characters. Though there is nothing I could complain about their roles to help the protagonist; their appearances in the story sure makes it a bit confusing. Nevertheless, it wouldn't be hard to understand what their participation on the story would be.

Lastly, my subjective insight. With all honesty, I really love this book, despite that I can't relate to it, since I had never experienced losing some one so dear to me that I had strong emotional ties with. More so, little do I know about how these people cope up after that kind of tragic event, and that the author had shed light on how majority of the people move on. The author's ability to encapsulate the feelings and pen them makes it even more amazing to read this book. It's like your also a part of it trying to extend your arms to comfort and to mend the wounds brought about by such abrupt event.

This is one special book that would touch your heart and make you cry. Hence I recommend this to all of you.

You can grab your copy of the book by clicking here, or you can also
download it here.

Enjoy reading!

Google Page Rank Update

Last Google Page Rank update sent my page tumbling down the ladder. I don't know how their algorithm works with this but it looks bad for me. I just don't understand why even those who doesn't do paid reviews on their blogs got a blow on the latest Page Rank Update. Further more, my backlinks also reduced to even a smaller portion, as compared to my previous one. Is this the primary reason why my PR3 blog goes down to PR2? Just thinking?

If you want to know how many backlinks your site have try this links:site name on the search box provided by Google, and there in the search results are the links pointing to your site.

Well as compared to me, previously I had a lot of links, but when Google penalized a lot of bloggers for paid reviews, their links are considered null and void, thus never accredited to my site. Poor thing, since all my blogging friends seemed to be spanked by Google. :(

At Last, My Phone is Back!

After a month of waiting for my cellphone to be repaired by Nokia experts, at last it's already fixed! No call dropping anymore; my cellphone already has signal. I can now call and even sms my friends, and they can even call and sms me without being interrupted by the audio recording stating that my phone is either unattended or out of coverage area. Kudos to those hard working experts!

What happened to my phone? Well it's a long story and you can read it here if you want. If, however, you're looking for solutions to regain your network signal, then I suggest you rush to the nearest Nokia Care Shop to get your phone sorted out of its problem. Why? Since forcing yourself on finding answers on the internet would yield no fruition. You're just going to waste your time. Remember this: not all solutions posted on the internet will work on your phone and only the phone's manufacturer can sort it out. I'm not actually discouraging you to try some of the solutions posted on the internet, but be careful on what you do for it might cause further damage to your handset.

If, your phone, doesn't have signal continuously for days like I had gone through then the best to consult their experts. You wouldn't know some parts of your phone might be changed for it might be faulty or even damaged.

Look at the photo above, see those little gray things? Those things that is smaller even on pins' head? Those were the parts that cause my phone to malfunction to lose its signal, both gsm and 3G, despite being under the network's coverage area. Those little things took a month to be repaired! If I didn't went on their shop to let my phone be fixed, then it might end as an expensive paper weight. See, my point is this, if I googled solutions on this problem then most likely I'll end up doing nothing at all. So if I were you, I would immediately rush over to their shop, the early the better, to have your cellphone be fixed. Another reminder don't tamper your cellphone's hardware for they will not accept your phone for fixing.

Transferring Domains to Different Registrar?

Okay, I had been planning of transferring my domain to another registrar, but I don't have in depth knowledge on how to do it especially with the transfer fees it's attached to. Above is the pricing list provided by one of the few popular domain registrars, Namecheap.com, and I just don't know if my assumptions were correct with regards to it.

I would like to ask each any everyone of you if your really can spare a word, please leave a comment below to help me out on deciding whether it's best to just renew my domain or transfer it.

Anyway, I clicked on the .info transfer pricing as seen above and I was trying to understand whether the said price is fixed up to the tenth year or it's just a sugar-coated price that if I ended up transferring my domain I would end up paying much than if I had just renewed it. So here are my questions to all knowledgeable people out there with regards to this issue, first if I transfer my domain for 10 years will I only pay the said allotted amount of not less than ten dollars? Second will that mean that my domain will be registered as well in ICANN for ten years?

If you can spare some insight about this issue, I really would appreciate it.

My N series Cellphone Under Nokia Care

After tireless efforts on waiting to have a network signal for my cellphone, I had lost my patience and went directly to the nearest Nokia Customer Care shop to let them fix my buggy phone. Of course, I'm expecting that it wouldn't be fixed that easily at a short span of time without prior notice, and I was right with my assumption. However, what's so shocking to see was that it's not only me that rushed there to have their cellphones be sorted out but a lot of people ranging from different social statuses, and classes. All of us clamored on that little space they had provided, for them to fix our phones. It's more like a local bank where a lot of people waited to be served.

Can you imagine waiting after a 30 customers just for you to inquire your cellphone problem to Nokia experts? Well yes, it's true. When I went there at Nokia Customer Care shop located at SM North EDSA, they are serving already customer number 1114, and when I took my number at their podium dispenser I'm customer 1140, what a discrepancy right? But I think waiting is worth it, since my phone can be fixed already with it's existing problems. Read More......

Another N series Flaw

This was the second problem that I had encountered using the Nokia N series phone. So probably you will know how this post would go - a rant post so bear with it.

Nokia is one of the famous brands available over the market for selling different kinds of cellphone handsets, and since it's popular a lot of people uses this brand even those within the poverty line in this country. What's so special with Nokia? It's user-friendly. You don't need any formal education on how to let the thing function properly. It's easy to use and efficient. Upon opening your handset box you can instantly set it up and text your way to your friends or even call the people you wished to call to brag about your new phone. It's that simple to use. However, if you encounter bugs within the system itself (like me) then it is another story.

You can see that I had stated that this would be the second problem that I had encountered while using Nokia. The first problem can be found here for you to read. But to recapitulate the first problem that I had encountered I can say that I had the difficulty on connecting the said the device to the computer using the USB cable provided, with which up to now wasn't even resolved by either the manufacturer, Nokia, or any other people (i.e. technicians) out there. Nokia N Series Serious Flaw!

I had heard before from my best friend that the Nokia N series distributed over the market had serious flaws and bugs associated to it that’s why he didn’t acquired one of its releases, instead he chose another brand of cell phone, Sony Ericsson. I actually didn’t believe him for what he had said about the serious flaws he had pointed out to me because I had my trust and confidence on the company itself, and the products that they launch over the market. Besides, Nokia is a user-friendly phone and only Nokia had a shop dedicated to spare parts if ever your phone goes haywire in this country. But now, I think, my best friend was right with regards to his assumption that the said N series had major flaws and bugs included in it, because I myself experienced it with my own phone right at my very nose.

Look who’s eating the words they’d said, right?

I had doubt my best friend and now what I’m suffering for one of those problems he had pointed out against the phone that I had selected. Okay, my parents selected for me, but hey, it’s still user-friendly, classy, functional and hold-up friendly too.

PBB Teen Edition Plus Housemate, Josef Elizalde Scandal?!

I don't understand why some people try to ruin people's reputation by placing malicious anchor text on a certain video. A concrete example is the above video of ex-teen PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) Teen Edition Plus Housemate, Josef Elizalde, where in he and his friends were making a dare on drinking tequila with a twist.

I don't know why this video surfaced on the internet and what its purpose would be. I don't even personally know the persons involved in this video, hence I don't know how and what to comment. It's Josef and his friends' video, and Josef himself, should actually make a statement on why this has surfaced over the internet. If this is for publicity stint then it had served its purpose, it went over the internet and over board to national television.

If indeed Josef Elizalde is a straight-tripper or preferably as what most people commented in Youtube had said that he is a homosexual, then it is his prerogative and not for viewers to actually shout out loud.

Now I think I made my point. You decide whether this video served as a simple dare of getting a lemon on a tequila or an intimate kiss of two males.

Site forwards to Blogmad?!

Has my site been redirecting to blogmad.net? If it is. I'm so sorry for it. I haven't seen that coming, more so, I don't know how did that happen. Anyway, I already had found out the source of the problem, and it was the faulty script provided by blogmad.net to me before. But with it having the ability to forward a blogger hosted web page is such insane.

Anyway, I had removed the faulty script and had claimed again my rights to this site. However, I don't know if they still have a chance on taking over my site. But if ever that happened again for sure I will make it a point to remove my affiliation from them.

By the way, the said site for web traffic exchange seems defunct now. Is it? But if they still went live online again, I'm going to file a complaint to them to let them know that they are trying to screw people and it's users by taking over their site or sites by redirecting them to the blogmad site itself.

Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual withdraws the libel case

Piolo Pascual Sam Milby

Badmouthing and backstabbing people, be it someone you barely knew, is the worst emotional violation that someone could inflict on somebody, hence if given the chance to rectify the situation legally why would someone blew it away? This is my own opinion on the Sam Milby, Piolo Pascual and Lolit Solis controversy that spanned for more than a month now. It's such a shame that both actors had agreed not to continue the libel case filed against the latter person after retracting her malicious statement for her article, because who would teach her a lesson if she's not even punished for what she had done.

Below is the SMS or text message of Ms. Dylim stating that Lolit Solis had signed the statement of retraction for her published malicious article.

Text message ni Ms. Dylim:

"Gud pm. Just came fr mla city hall. Ms. Lolit sgd her statement of retraction— There s no factual basis for my article, wch came out on oct 12 2007. I am extremely sori for dragging d names of sam en piolo. SAM, PIOLO, I AM SORI FOR D HURT EN EMBARASMENT I CAUSED. Separate undertaking, no mor talkng abt sam en piolo or ths incident. With this, piolo and sam sgd an afidavit of desistance. [Good evening. Just came from Manila City Hall. Ms. Lolit signed her Statement of Retraction—There is no factual basis for my article, which came out on October 12, 2007. I am extremely sorry for dragging the names of Sam and Piolo. Sam, Piolo, I am sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I caused. Separate undertaking, no more talking about Sam and Piolo or this incident. With this, Piolo and Sam signed an Affidavit of Desistance.]"

To be honest, I definitely don't agree that they (Sam and Piolo) actually discontinue their case because the latter person would definitely repeat what she had caused - to tarnish people's reputation. Besides even if she retracted the said published statement, the thing is, it still had reached the public and their reputations are clearly stained by malice, and not a single retraction could ever change the fact that the said statement had caused people to doubt their sexuality more so to typecast them as closet homosexuals.
